Anyone else getting skunked by Walmart release day delivery?

This is why I would never preorder a disc. This year I finally went digital to get the Ultimate Superstar edition on PS4. I’ll never go back to a disc again!

Digital is nice at all if you only have one console and you never leave its side. I will stick to a physical disk as it allows me to install/uninstall at will on either of my consoles. Added bonus of the game swapping that I do with my brother. Amazon also hosed me for delivery. Wish I wasn't so lazy, but be who you are.

Digital is actually superior to physical if you have more than one console, no constant going to get the disc from the other machine. Just log in on whichever console and play.

Same with me, for Amazon. Is Walmart or Gamestop selling physical copies today, in store, does anyone know? Was it just the digital release of the game today? This is weird.

Both of those stores should be selling physical copies today. I thought I heard that gamestop starting selling them at 9pm last night, I could be wrong though.

I agree, I think once Gamestop ceases to exist we will see digital start going on sale. Right now I think that is what is stopping digital from having sales earlier on in a title's life. We see sales there but not usually until the title has been out for a good while.
