Basic QB function has been missing from madden!!!!

Yikes. Motioning receivers has been in madden for a very long time. Hold B or Circle.

Yeah, I think OP may be referring to FotF or playing CFM as a QB, in which case I do believe you aren't able to send other players into motion due to player lock.

speaking of basic qb functions...i have not played madden in a really long time so im not sure if this has been gone for some time, but is there no qb avoidance feature? like when youre about to get sacked, you can flick any which way on the right thumb stick and your qb will move in the pocket.

Tap the left trigger to turn the QB into a runner, then you will see the icons will come down for receivers and you can use special moves.

Tap the left trigger again to go back to being a QB and the icons will come back up.

Let me be more clear on what I'm referring to, when I say, connected franchise mode.... There are 3 connected franchise modes. Player, coach and owner are the 3 modes. Player mode and playing as a NFL QB, you cannot motion any players on the LOS period. Get it, got it, good!!!!

It’s been like this since literally like 2011. NCAA series was guilty of this as well. Used to voice my concerns constantly about it but gave up.
