Why does Madden not include all Throwback Jerseys for teams

This Jersey for Tampa Bay would be cool to have in game. I notice the Lions have both their Home and away set from the same era. Home and away Throwbacks for all teams would be neat to have

Hopefully, the next generation of consoles will allow enough storage space for teams to have more throwback jerseys. Including home and away versions. As a Niner fan, I've had the 1998-2008 set on my wishlists for years.

I’m actually a Niners fan myself. Wouldn’t mind having that one in as well. Just using the Buccaneers in a Franchise with a fully fictional roster and noticed they have no away jersey for their 70’s thru 90’s set

I've wondered the same thing, especially when in many cases they're exactly the same jersey that's already in there, all you have to do is reverse the colors.

Broncos are missing the road from the orange crush era. Saints are missing their gold alt from 2000.

It would be cool if they added create-a-uniform for NFL teams with an upload vault in a future madden. That way any unis that aren’t in the game or fan-made uniforms could be used.

If it’s a space issue, I’d rather they get rid of some of the older uniforms that look just like the current uniforms. The Bears have 3 or 4 versions of their uniforms that are essentially the same, just keep the helmet with the white C

What would really be nice is if they had uniforms server side that you could download and replace existing uniforms with. Being able to create our own uni's would be even better. Create them, upload them, allow people to download them and replace an existing uni. But, I doubt it will ever happen. They will continue to claim the NFL won't allow it even though there are all sorts of interesting uni's in MUT (better than franchise relocation uni's).

I have been very disappointed in this area, similar to those here, but won’t go into specifics as I have done in many threads. However, the recent patch brought tons of retro face masks. My guess is that as they continue to bring in legends on the MUT side, they are smartly supporting these additions for immersion and authenticity by adding ‘new’ retro stuff. I’m betting and hoping the uni additions and uni customization train is coming, albeit still slowly. Considering the huge leaps in gameplay this year, theres finally hope they are making time for the sprinkles on top.

I don't think storage space is the issue. EA just isn't that interested. It has been a pet peeve of my for YEARS.

Hopefully this will change, I play a lot of MLB The Show and the past few iterations of the franchise it is very apparent that uniforms have become a priority. After much of its history of not being a priority at all.

Madden has a bigger staff and budget so hopefully in the future they’ll provide more resources to the art department.

It’d be cool if they used a piece of all that money they make from MUT, to throw some love towards uniforms. I like how they never remove any uniforms from the game but how about adding some

Yep. Even if they claim it's a resources issue, why cant they have throwback/alternative uni's server side and allow you to pick/download the uniforms to fill out the available "slots"?

The entire Owners mode portion of this game needs a major overhaul, especially when it comes to relocation and team names/uni's.

No reason they cant do what NBA2K does with relocation, uniforms, team names, re-branding, etc. None. And before anyone throws out "the NFL won't allow it" nonsense; look no further than MUT and Superstar KO.
