Next Madden 13 Roster Update?

Does anyone know when is the next roster update?
Release day Tuesday?
Or September 11th?

EA Sports has confirmed that the first title update for Madden NFL 13 is tentatively scheduled for September 11, which would be just two weeks after the launch of the game this Tuesday, August 28. There are currently no details on exactly what the patch will include, it is clear that EA Sports is trying to be more proactive in keeping the game updated after most people agree they failed miserably last year. For comparison, the first title update for Madden 12 came almost 7 weeks after the game released.

I hope they focus on fixing all the bugs/glitches/issues with the game before they worry about roster updates...doesn't seem like they are very good at multi-tasking....

usually I'd agree....except they won't let us do our own updates this year (so stupid) so we're kind of SOL. I wish they would take the living roster idea that 2k uses and implemented that.

Actually you can update your own roster don't know where everyone is saying you can't

You can for Play Now, but you can't take it into CCM at all, or edit within it.

Are you saying that the roster can be edited in any way we want and that said roster can be used for an offline CCM? That isn't what I've read so far. If there is a way though can you please explain.

You can change players on the depth charts around but you can't change their positions or ratings, etc stuff like that.

And yes that ' CAREERROSTER-UPDATE for use in CCM. Xbox 360 ' file is used for Offline CCM.

I don't care about depth charts, let me make the trades that just happened and cuts and start my own CCM when I want. I can't, have to wait for their rosters

Totally agree and also player edits, there are a ton of errors as usual! I can see if it's for online but let us edit for offline! Also let us edit college draft class so we can put real players that are coming in like nba2k. Quit handcuffing us!!!!

I'm sure this is the case for everyone after reading your posts, but I'm so PISSED right now. I'm the biggest Seahawk fan in the world and I can't even start a CCM with the RIGHT players on my roster...No Braylon Edwards, so I have to try and trade for him..***ssell Wilson is realistically 15 points higher than what they have him rated on the game....it's soooooo FRUSTRATING!!!!
