Please explain what is going on in this Demo video???

I have not played Madden in the last 4 years so please tell me that this stuff is not normal. Let me rephrase my original claim of not playing it... I have played it but never played it longer than a game because it was horrible.

This Madden looks VERY GOOD but while playing the Demo today I came across this play and it looked very weird when I saw it in real time so I paused it to see what actually happened.

Here is the 3 things that bothered me in the video...

1. Looks like Casey Hampton NT #98 starts running towards Beanie Wells and decides to moon walk instead.

2. Casey Hampton than warps from one spot on the field into the Gang tackle.

3. How is Beanie Wells once Casey Hampton warps into the gang tackle able to push a 300+ NT 10 yards with 2 other Steelers helping on the tackle?

Let me make this abundantly clear....

I LIKE WHAT MADDEN 10 LOOKS LIKE AND IAN AND CREW HAVE DONE A REMARKABLE JOB IN TRYING TO FIX WHAT MADDEN HAS BECOME AND I HAVE MY MADDEN 10 ALREADY PAID FOR!

This doesn't mean we should turn away from game issues and I hope Ian and crew see's the video because I tried to take it from every angle I could just so they can see every issue involved with the play so they can fix it.

Holy crap that is broken. And I've witnessed it a few times on my own.

Glad somebody started a thread on it. It's so ridiculous.

edit - I keep watching it, and it just keeps getting worse and worse the more I analyze what's happening there. Busting out Polamanlu and Hampton, all while defying physics, momentum, and even the friction of the ground. Great stuff.

It looks like "that other game" prevails yet again.

Having played the demo, I was impressed by the cut-scenes and interface (although the huge scoreboards blocking the cut-scenes is annoying), but the gameplay is still extremely broken.

The catch animations are weird at times (especially over-the-shoulder catches), the DBs can still shift momentum mid-air and tackle receivers, and Pro-Tak has caused more problems than it has erased.

Time to wait until Madden NFL 11.

Ive posted video that show just as odd stuff. Had 2 players randomly leap out of a pro tack based gang tackle. Ive said this since I first saw the M10 promos, Pro Tack could make or break this thing. It seems way to powerful for its own good and has zero consistency. Doesn't seem to bother a lot of people for some reason.

People shouldn't be banned for this. These are serious issues with the game, and need to be fixed as fast as possible. If these things are this noticeable, then they shouldn't even have made it into the demo.

Yes the game is a huge step in the right direction, but things kinds of bugs are gamebreakers to alot of people. Morphing into other players? Cmon guys.

How could I be banned for this? I did not call out anyone at all or call anyone names at all. I posted legit issues that I saw in this game demo that I hope gets fixed.

Could this be because it's a demo? Maybe we need to wait for the final game before we know for sure.

If this happens once in a blue moon in the final game, then we are going to have to chalk it up as a small glitch. I can live with that.

I don't think this can be corrected in a patch for this year since pro-tack is a new programming feature and might take a lot of time. Next year, for Madden 11, these glitches should be fine-tune and cleaned up I'm sure.
