I dont think they praise it as a whole, from wut i gathered from all the ea/2k conversations the just feel that 2k captured the core aspects of the game suck as running,blocking,tackling,awarness and presentation.

No such thing as a big game. It's a video game.. It's a hobby for me. Playing Madden is not the pinnacle of my football playing life. The moment I start getting overly upset or taking it that seriously is the moment I find a new hobby.

That being said, I have yet to see what you are talking about either in the demo nor in NCAA. So even if it does exist, I don't believe it to be overly prevelant.

If it is, I will simply accept it or play something else.

How do you feel about real football? I am getting better. But I do get mad when the Vikings lose. But the older I get the less angry I get though.

My first thought when you asked that question was to hit you with that classic line from that steven siegal movie where the dude says " you might could be an english teacher except you can"t understand plain english" i do that all the time to people that try and correct peoples words.

I wasn't trying to criticize.. Fact of it is, I (and most of the older posters around here) don't really take people who post in txt-eaze or other odd online dialects very seriously. that's all.

Well this not that bad. And this always is going to be gitches in any game. But I am more worried bout the offense pass blocking and the human defense pass rush right now then this small issue.

I've given my input and have expressed my mind in the suggestion forum. Unfortunately I was either too late in voicing my opinion or it was ignored.

I want Madden NFL to succeed, because it's the only option.

However, from what I've played from the demo, the gameplay is extremely broken and unrealistic.

The presentation is great (some areas are bland however), and the graphics are nicely done. I can't sit here, however, and say that the gameplay is great, because it's not. The gameplay is unpolished, unrealistic, and full of "did that just happen" moments.

I'm not a 2K fanboy. In fact, when 2K obtained the exclusive baseball rights, I was pissed because I prefered All-Star Baseball (although The Show ended up besting both 2K and EA).

Consider my signature motivation for EA. They need to be pushed. I can't stress that enough.

That is a bad use of the word "extreme". I think that Madden 10's game play is great! I never saw this occur before, but I doubt that it is something that will occur frequently and also we can still hope that Pro-Tak was still being tuned well after the demo build was made as well as look forward to the Madden 10 release day patch. I hate your signature with a passion, because IMO, the only way 2k5 is put in the "best football game ever" category is when you look at its presentation. If not, I think that Madden 2005 was better in the game play department and deserves to be in that category.

Well when you see the pile move 10 yards forward in this video it is not a big deal but....

What happens when your in an online tourney, Franchise Mode, Superbowl or any other big game in your opinion and you think you stop the guy short of the 1st down or TD on the last drive and than watch there RB warp 10 yards for the 1st down or TD than what will you do?

I am thinking about the big picture here not just a demo bug.

I absolutely understand what your concern is. Honestly, I haven't seen this occur to me before, but we can only hope that it isn't in the final build. This definitely isn't a big deal because there is a ton of other great things about the DEMO, that excites me for August 14th.

Ive posted video that show just as odd stuff. Had 2 players randomly leap out of a pro tack based gang tackle. Ive said this since I first saw the M10 promos, Pro Tack could make or break this thing. It seems way to powerful for its own good and has zero consistency. Doesn't seem to bother a lot of people for some reason.

I think people disagree with your videos as well as Apex's videos because you guys mostly state your problem, but then start to say that you're fed up with the problems, and then start to over exaggerate the problems as something they are really not. The OP simply showed a video of the issue and even said that he appreciates what the Madden team has done and even stated that he already pre-ordered Madden 10 and simply asked for an explanation. I enjoy your videos as well as Apex's, but I think we really need to stop the "EA Fanboy" vs. "Truf Chaser" vs. "sheeple" vs. "2k gamer" vs. "residents of the matrix", etc. and all come together to discuss topics constructively instead of having an on going war which will likely make things worse. We ALL want Madden NFL to be the most realistic and accurate representation of the NFL, but we aren't going to get anywhere if we continue on the same path that we are on now.

lol, You're going to go the way of Apex and get banned for this. I dont believe that its bannable, but thats how it works in this section.

I'm sure the mods won't ban him for this. If I'm not mistaken, the rules stated that video threads with commentary were not allowed. I think Apex broke the rules and received infractions that lead to him being banned for a month.

What sux, is i been waiting 5 years now for a playable NFL football game that suits what i want. I havent found that in a NFL game yet. I understand be patient, but its 5 years for me. I had a nice very nice run with APF2K8, but its 2 years old now and over 800 online games. There is little to nothing left for me to do in that game. lol

So, guys like me are stuck with no NFL football game to play, because from the demo, 10 isnt worth my 65 bucks.
