i get yardage too but i have the one minute demo. see you just assume too

i made a thread earlier and i said that it seems madden players just seem to care about the end results and dont really care how? i can how and how i got those yardage is not related to the NFL

And as I said in this very thread, if I want the real NFL, I'll watch TV and wait for tickets at Lambeau.

The real NFL that I see on the field and on TV has blown coverages and missed assignments.

and EA cant even get that simulated right.

but your logic is irrational. if u love to watch and see the NFL then why dont you a video game to simulate as much as possible with the tech given and no EA hasnt been doing that

I have not played Madden in the last 4 years so please tell me that this stuff is not normal. Let me rephrase my original claim of not playing it... I have played it but never played it longer than a game because it was horrible.

This Madden looks VERY GOOD but while playing the Demo today I came across this play and it looked very weird when I saw it in real time so I paused it to see what actually happened.

Here is the 3 things that bothered me in the video...

1. Looks like Casey Hampton NT #98 starts running towards Beanie Wells and decides to moon walk instead.

2. Casey Hampton than warps from one spot on the field into the Gang tackle.

3. How is Beanie Wells once Casey Hampton warps into the gang tackle able to push a 300+ NT 10 yards with 2 other Steelers helping on the tackle?

Let me make this abundantly clear....

I LIKE WHAT MADDEN 10 LOOKS LIKE AND IAN AND CREW HAVE DONE A REMARKABLE JOB IN TRYING TO FIX WHAT MADDEN HAS BECOME AND I HAVE MY MADDEN 10 ALREADY PAID FOR!

This doesn't mean we should turn away from game issues and I hope Ian and crew see's the video because I tried to take it from every angle I could just so they can see every issue involved with the play so they can fix it.

thats what happens when ppl buy a game because they simply like what "it looks like".
another year.....back to the drawing board!!

The only part of your statement that is correct is that EA hasn't been doing that.

I'm not that perfect in life, I don't need my football gaming hobby to be perfect, either. As someone else said, if I want my football gaming hobby to become perfect as the NFL, I might as well give up the hobby and start looking for a new one.

I'm willing to wait for 10 to come out and get a feel in my hands before I start praising it or crucifying it.

blocking still sucks, WR/DB is suspect, special teams hasnt been worked on in god knows how long, im holding judgement on the pass rush but from the demo its TRASH, run defense is wack cause basically EA just put a magnet on the RB and everybody swarms to him, zone coverage is suspect and man coverage is suspect

This is funny. Since blocking, pass coverage both zone and man and run defense, particularly angles of pursuit where all things the 2k series has had issues with.

when did i ever say it had to be perfect. im not looking for madden to be perfect, IM LOOKING FOR IT TO BE THE NFL. 2k8 isnt perfect but i will tell anybody anywhere that its the best representation to the NFL to date. hell 2k5 aint perfect but in 4 or 5 years its was the best representation to the NFL and ESPN. EA had the ESPN license for 4 years and still hasnt use it

i love to watch and see the NFL but when i play madden its madden and nothing more but i want it to be more than what it is.
