I am going to keep harping on this so hopefully some dev takes notice, the way the camera flipped on the turnover to a behind the defense view, does it do that for the zoom cam when playing defense? If not, why? lol

I have yet to see a zoom video with the User on defense but I get the impression that the devs expect people to play from an offensive zoom cam on defense.

Not videos, but I took a few snap shots from CRMosier's video so we can see how much of the flats we can view. Not too bad. Not as much as I thought though. I still prefer it, and actually it would likely only be something like under 5% of the throws that would even possibly run into issues of not seeing. Again, you can see the defense fine, it's just HB swings, screens that might give little issues. They could solve this by tilting the cam a bit post snap(during pass mode)

Not sure, but if I had to guess based off my 2 demo's, I'd say PS3. The Xbox is still a bit more colorful and the lighting has more contrast IMO.

lol, the OP of the video beat me to it(added while I was commenting)...glad my assumption was right! lol. Added above videos. I'll try to label if I know what system they are.

Thanks for the upload! Really appreciate you doing it for us! If you want to post more, that would be cool. I could add them to the thread. Maybe some zoom videos with snow and rain to see how the effects look? Maybe a defense video too?

I bet we would all be ok if they were just 1:00 clips to save on rendering & upload time,etc. Just a few plays of it. Understand 100% if you don't have the time. I know how long it takes to edit, render, and upload videos. Specially in 720p or higher!

Not made..about was i expecting. Its definately playable...i would like it pan up just a inch or two on passing plays and be a inch or two more closer when running the ball but thats ok..i'll get use to what it is now..its not a problem and i like that i can actually see numbers on players on D

I like what I'm seeing with zoom cameras and the engine, BUT...the two things that continue to be a eye sore is, the two animations where if a player is lying on the ground and other player does some sort of two step to get around him. The other being when two players pass each othe and they do the "Assian's Creed" move out of my way animation.

Sorry! I must have seen it too many times in that second vid.

While i always felt this new zoom cam on passing plays needed to be a bit closer when passing..the more i look at the videos i believe Mike Young got it just right because you can see your RB going on a swing pass just enough on the tv screen..i know in past zoom cams you could never see your RB going right or left for a quick swing pass which made it almost unplayable during certain plays...

So i am actually pretty darn stoked now that i see that the zoom cam gets all the receivers "most of the time" in screen without having to guess throw.

I think Mike Young did a great job with the passing. The only thing i would like and recommend on the passing plays that the cam automatically rises about 1 inch..but thats being pretty nit picky on my part..i think he got it right. This may also sound a bit nit picky too..because it is...during running plays i'd like it to automatically zoom up a bit closer to the RB as well...but again..that's just me and my personal preference and this is where a custom cam would do wonders for madden for all of us but hey..i am not complaining because the "new" zoom cam is just as playable as the standard cam for the first time ever imho
