This is the most disappointing Madden in a long time for me. I am solely offline and it has been one body blow after another this year. I can't imagine a year without Madden but this may be the year.

Seriously? How in the hell does a camera have any effect on CCM?! That is plain stupid. Do FIFA's multiple camera angles effect Manager Mode? No. NBA2K zillion camera options effect Association or Season mode? No. PES have any effect on any mode? No. MLB The Show? No.

Do We sense a trend here? What on Earth is the Madden team doing with all of these limitations for their customer? This CCM is basically a pain in the neck really.

Thanks for finding this out.You just saved me 65 dollars.Im really upset about this,I cant believe you cant use the zoom view in CCM.This is unacceptable to me.. I wont be buying Madden 13 now.....

I wouldn't use this cam but this still makes me mad. It seems like it would take more effort to remove a camera from ccm than to just keep it in.

Im really really upset about this,sorry to post again ,but i was thinking ,maybe if you go into the settings and changed the cam view to zoom ,then save all the settings and then start your CCM.Will it work?, can someone who has the retail game try this and get back to us?

Madden is the only sports game on the market that's like a iPhone metaphorically . Looks nice on the outside, average on the inside. Bunch of limitations for the users. Unfortunately it can't be jailbroken.

Not sure, but that would be great if it worked.

Yeah, I wish this wasn't such a big blow, but sadly it is to me too

Another thing to think about is all of you coach mode players out there probably can't use the broadcast view either.

Think how many years we fought for broadcast, zoom cams this gen. How long we fought for full player editing, etc.....all gone this year. I could see this if it was the 2nd or 3rd year, but to drop all this stuff the last 2 years of the dev cycle seams crazy.

well that just sucks man ...why? even if you are the coach?? doesnt make any sense...if this is true they have to address this ASAP...i mena what does it matter what camera you play on when you are the coach of a team...this is the first thing that im really friggin pissed about because i cant see the logical reason why it was removed

they advertised and "showed off" the NEW ZOOM CAMERA on twitter for what??? play now games?? ...this has me speechless and totally confused ...if this is true they need to fix this yesterday...and thats not soon enough...and the fact they they didnt come out and say it was NOT in CCM is really sneaky and bush league IMO...

I agree, that is really sneaky and bush league. Same with them posting blogs about equipment and customization only to have editing removed and then never mentioned or openly addressed. I feel sorry for the thousands of people this year that will feel cheated on things like that and having no couch co-op. you know if people are still popping up on OS unaware of those changes then there are TONS of people who are going to find out on release day.

To me it seems impossible to see the distance between the WR and and CB or a FS, I see a lot of batted balls , incompletes or pics with this view, as one poster said, the cam should be raised a tad during passing plays. You could gage depth between players if this cam was raised slightly.

i dont wanna sound like im bashing EA because i am still pumped to play the full version but with every detail that comes out it is more and more clear that CCM WAS/IS NOT READY for this title...that dude should have held off one year and introduced this CCM the RIGHT way with all our "fought for" options next year...im gonna get tired of playin play now games real quick

Totally speechless, as I was very excited to only use that camera angle. You know, usually it's a somewhat manageable "1 step forward, 2 steps backwards" with this company, but this is borderline pathetic.

On a more positive note, it saved me $65 for retail, $25 for season ticket renewal, dozens of hours of tuning sliders pre/post whatever patch they feel like releasing, among other things. I know I'm not the only one either
