A quick intro, I came up with this idea and now I wanna go through with this on OS, more for documentation purposes than anything. I’m just gonna have fun with this and see what happens. What I’m going to do is a monthly recap for each post, so one year in the dynasty will be just twelve posts. I feel like that’s a good amount of time to where I’m not taking too long to get through the dynasty but also not speeding through the seasons. For the playoffs I’m not going to spoil the results in the title as to make it a bit more intriguing to read along with.

Why three sports and not two or four?
I don’t play the NHL video games, so four sports was off the table. As for two sports, that was very well a possibility if I had done a different city such as Tampa Bay or Seattle. But since Philly has a baseball, basketball, and football team I wanted to play with all three.
Why Philadelphia of all sports cities?
Admittedly, I put all sports cities with two plus teams I have games for on a wheel and spun said wheel three times and chose from those three spins. The other two spins were Washington D.C. and LA (specifically the Clippers, Chargers, and Angels). Ultimately I felt Philly would be the most fun of the three cities.
What games/systems will this be played on?
I am going to be using MLB 15 The Show (PS3), Madden 16 (PS4), and NBA 2k16 (PS4). I decided on starting with the 2015 Opening Day for this series because I feel like this is the most interesting time in Philadelphia sports. The Phillies were coming off back to back 73-89 seasons and ended up going 63-99 in 2015. The Eagles were coming off a good season at 10-6, ending the 2014 season just outside the playoffs before going 7-9 in 2015. The Sixers were coming off an abysmal 18-64 season, then proceeded to go 10-72 in 2015-16, the third worst mark in NBA history. Overall, it was a down year for Philadelphia sports, so I want to pick up here and try to turn it around.
Why not just play with the current games/teams?
Like I said before, I just thought this would be more fun and intriguing. It’s my dynasty so I’m gonna do it how I want. I think this will make it a lot more fun as well, playing with these teams that are six to seven years old.
