Any double or triple such-and-such burger.

McDonald's: Two double cheeseburgers, large fries (these days it's like $14, but fifteen years ago I could get 2 Dbl Chz + Sm Fr for $3.25)

Carl's Jr.: Really Big Carl (don't know what the equivalent is at Hardee's)

In-N-Out Burger: 4x4 animal style w/ whole grilled onion & whole raw onion, cheese fry lite (I once doubled up this order, and it was a delight)

Jack in the Box: Double Jack w/ cheese & Oreo cookie shake

Jimboy's Tacos: Two Tahoe steak burritos

I don't really ever go to Burger King or Wendy's. I never go to Taco Bell. Heck, I rarely go to these places except In-N-Out Burger, unless I'm road-tripping. Normally I have some local sandwich spots or get cheesesteaks. These are my default items though.

Taco Bell - Big beef burrito, nacho bell grande.
        BK - Whopper.
Mickey D's - Caramel frappe, chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce.
Jack's - Chicken tenders with honey mustard.
SubWay - Meatball marinara or roastbeef and pepperjack.
Captain D's - 4 piece fish with sweet and sour sauce (I wonder if Capt. D is related to Mickey D.).
Domino's - Ham and cheese with mushrooms.
Little Caesar - Crazy bread and sauce.
KFC - Original chicken, breast leg wing thigh, give me it all, I could eat a whole chicken worth of Colonel's original chicken skins, plus mash potato and gravy.
Wendy's - Was always a baconater, but now its always Ghost Pepper chicken sandwich.

Now that I have tomorrow's lunch planned, I guess I could also make a list for tomorrow's supper.

All fast food is way too expensive.

LRG fry from McDonalds is like $4.25 now.

2 cheeseburgers and 2 med fries from BK is almost $11

Best deal I've found in "fast food" is a medium deep dish from Dominos for $8.50

I rarely eat fast food fries any more. Only on occasion will I eat Jack's and Milo's fries. Every other fast food fry is (are?) dead to me. I've eat so many in a half century, I've eaten a lifetime's supply. Pretty much burnt out on them.

Sausage, Egg, and Cheese McMuffin from McDonalds.

$2 bucks when you use the app (any breakfast sandwich)! Sometimes they even have it for a $1. Random times have a buy 1 get 1 as well.

                    Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Wendys.

After getting a Sonic gift card, I was able to drive through it a couple of times when traveling during softball tournaments.

I haven't tried any of their shakes or anything, but their burgers are definitely better than I had expected.

I mentioned cheesesteaks before, and I guess it's fast food (don't know to what end, but I had run across a Charleys Philly Steaks before with a drive thru), but I'm absolutely in love with Capriotti's. They are absolutely expensive (I've had $50 cheesesteaks when I get double meat and such in their largest size), but their rewards program gives you a lot of opportunities for discounts that it balances itself out often. Sadly, I also gotta limit how much I eat there because of how unhealthy that is, and it is still relatively expensive.

Charely's cheesesteaks were my favorite. There used to be one in the food court of a local mall, but sadly it closed years ago as that mall died a slow death and was eventually closed and is presently being demolished

There was a Capriotti's on Pitt's campus a few years ago, but it didn't last very long (perhaps because of the high prices you mentioned being too much for the college students). I only ate there once.

                              That's the problem now too.

Sure, everything is going way up in prices, but fast food really isn't worth it anymore.

I've seen places selling burgers for like $15+. Not a combo either.

For now, pizza is probably the best valued meal you can get, someone always has a special so you can get at least a medium with a few toppings or even a large for under $10. Subs cost MORE than a medium pizza? Sides cost at least a few dollars now?

Only good thing to come out of this (mainly because of the pandemic) is the fact that I've been able to replicate lots of this stuff myself for obviously way less money. But now grocery stores are realizing this and jacking up all the prices on their end where at times it's now somehow cheaper to buy a prepared meal than buying things to make it yourself.
