Echenique - The Eternal Dreamer [NBA2K24 - Player Career]

Who is Luc Echenique? Born on the sixth day of April 2004 in Madrid, Spain, Luc was always a dreamer—partly because life demanded it of him. Luc was the son of real estate entrepreneurs, and it was normal for him to move from one place to another, discovering new countries. As a result, Luc never had a place he could truly call home.

Though he didn’t have a place to call his own, he had something he loved that made him feel at home, no matter where he was: basketball. That simple game, which people loved to overcomplicate, was pure joy for Luc. Whether he was in Madrid, London, Mexico City, or even on Mars, one thing remained constant: basketball was basketball.

To give you an idea, the Echenique family moved across six countries between Luc's second and twelfth birthdays. Eventually, the family settled on Johns Island, just minutes from downtown Charleston. It was there that Luc competed in the sport he had been playing for years: basketball. Representing Charleston Collegiate School, Luc began to shine for the first time and allowed himself the luxury of dreaming. He realized then that basketball was his calling—it was what he truly loved to do.

That blue-and-yellow gymnasium became the stage for Luc’s earliest memories. His first successful three-pointer, his first steal, the first time he heard the crowd roar in excitement over his game—all happened there. Soon, he became recognized as a standout athlete, taking the reins of the basketball team. To this day, people still remember his spectacular 30-point game against Cane Bay High School.

At seventeen years old, Luc forever etched his name into his school's history. Charleston Collegiate School had never had a student recruited to Division I basketball—until Luc Echenique. It was a monumental step forward for the eternal dreamer, allowing him to keep dreaming even bigger.

Three Division I schools showed interest in Luc: USC Upstate, Clemson University, and the University of Southern California. Playing in California was a dream for Luc, and USC's proposal stood out due to their exceptional attention to him during camps he attended. However, at the same time that Luc was soaring toward his dreams, his parents were going through a divorce. Being far from his mother was not something he could handle at that moment. Fate decided his next step: Luc Echenique, Clemson University.

    About this Dynasty

This is a story I’ve had for quite some time on another forum, and I decided to bring it here. It’s based on NBA 2K24 on PC, using the MyLeague system, although I’m only controlling one player. I haven’t set many internal rules for myself—just focusing on having fun and staying true to the logic of the story and character.

I hope you enjoy it! Also, please note that English is not my first language, so if something isn’t clear or seems poorly written, let me know! There’s always room for improvement.

Thanks for bringing the story here - always good to see new ones in our dynasty community. Are you using 2KTools and the modding community to get the HS and college jerseys?
?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

?Ask me about the Xbox Ally handheld - I'm on the team that made it.

Hello, thanks for the comment. I don't think it's good to advertise another forum for free here, because it's the same style and we respect the forum

I first used 2KTools, where I added the NCAA for a simulation that was closer to what I expected. But then what happened in the simulation didn't match the Nba 2k24 Mock Draft. Which then got weird. For this reason, I decided to apply myself more to NBA history and the entire academic path will be through CHATGPT, where I put in the data I obtained from the NBA 2K24 Mock Draft and the artificial intelligence simulated it.

          Thanks for read and comment.

It's clear to say that the G League is dominating this Mock Draft, but the main topic that has been talked about is Bronny James, the second generation is coming: When everyone starts to think that LeBron may be in his last seasons, his heir is well placed in the Mock Draft and the Houston team looks favorably on the point guard and may even choose him.

According to DraftExpress, the MockDraft will be full of quality. It should be noted that Tyrese Proctor appears as the number 11 pick, the Cavaliers' probable choice on January 3, 2024. A Draft full of Point Guards and Small Fowards where the few interior men who appear are undoubtedly men of quality. Quality is expected in the future. Luc Echenique, who is having an interesting season, is eighteenth, but with prospects of moving up the table.

Tatum's injury last year shattered Boston's chance to reclaim the long-awaited title. For this reason, this season is one of the most crucial for this team. Will this be the year they finally capture the trophy they desire so much? With just one year left on Tatum's contract, if this project doesn't succeed, it might all come to an end in 2025.

No one knows which direction the Brooklyn team will take. The future doesn’t look bright, mainly because, on paper, the team doesn’t seem to have enough value to achieve anything this season. And next year? Brooklyn only has two picks for the 2025 Draft: one from Houston and one from the Suns. Considering Phoenix's roster, featuring Durant, Booker, and company, it’s unlikely their pick will be anywhere near the top of the board. Will they surprise us?

When all is said and done, despite what everyone says, the New York Knicks made it to the finals. Sure, they benefited from injuries to some of the favorites, but no one can take credit away from the New York team. Randle, Brunson, and Robinson remain on the roster, and now Oubre Jr. joins to add talent. With this, they aim to surprise once again—though it won’t come as a shock to anyone if we see the Knicks in the Finals at the end of the season. Are the Knicks strong enough to compete against a healthy Celtics squad? Or even capable of eliminating a fully-fit Milwaukee team?

After reaching the Conference Finals and eliminating the favored Boston Celtics (even without Tatum, Boston was still the favorite), the Philadelphia team looks different this year. With their core duo of Maxey and Embiid, new talent is emerging in Philly. Ja’kobe Walter, just 19 years old and the 23rd pick in this year’s Draft, and even Brazile, a second-round pick who secured his spot on the team after an impressive Summer League. Overall? A lack of players for the present, but with some promise for the future. Trust the process?
