Justin Denmon is a McDonald's All American power forward who was a one and done power forward from Duke University. A tenacious rebounder in college, he averaged 11.8 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. The 9.9 rebounds per game put him in the top 10 rebounders in the NCAA.

Denmon was drafted by the Indiana Pacers and joins a team that surprisingly landed free agent Kahwi Leonard in the off season who is still recovering from a ruptured achilles.

So after sitting on the bench for the first 12 games of the season, Justin Denmon finally got on the court for his first NBA action after TJ Leaf injured his ankle and will be out for 6-8 weeks.

Denmon did not disappoint. Here are the highlights of one his first NBA games.

He also turned 20 on the day of his first NBA start. Great birthday present!

I did see there was a real life Justin Denmon but he wasn't a basketball player like the real life "Justin Dentmon" is lol.

Justin Denmon has been putting up some good rookie numbers although the Pacers are under .500 as a team. Some of that is Denmon's defense but for the most part, he's been solid since he replaced TJ Leaf who went down with an injury.

Since our last update, Denmon has had several good games including putting up a career high 19 rebound performance in a win vs the Timberwolves. However, in the next game vs the Jazz, an unexpected dirty play from Jonas Jerebko had costly results.

The Pacers kicked off the second half of the season against the San Antonio Spurs and we highlight the top rookie of the year candidates. One surprise was Jamal Outlaw who played for the national champion Texas Tech team but was a second round pick.

While Denmon was snubbed in the rookie of the year race at the midpoint of the season, he took his frustrations out on the court by grabbing a career high 21 rebounds!
