MLB 2K11 PC Q&A - Impressions

My first thing I need to know, will this game run on a intel chipset g45 chipset which is I believe a graphics media accelerator x4500

Since we are talking PC, I'll move my question here:

I haven't played a 2k Baseball game for years, but thinking about picking this up for my PC due to my traveling. So, does this new 2011 version have a Manage Only mode similar to The Show where you call the shots but the CPU plays it out graphically?

How is the fielding? Is there an option for auto fielding?

Are the stats realistic if you SIM a game or even playing it, is it realistic?

And how is the franchise mode? Deep?

Sorry for the questions, just haven't played this in years! I'm sure a lot has changed.

Ugh, another game that forces close to desktop...in the 6th inning nonetheless. Gotta love development teams that put no effort into PC titles.

What do you mean, by close to desktop? Meaning it closes the program unexpectedly?

Ok i guess this is now the official PC thread (sorry Football).

My question for those with the PC game is, how is the stuttering in the game on popups and flyballs, same as i saw in the PS3 demo?

I haven't noticed any stuttering or framerate problems but I don't know what to look for. In the patch topic they said the PC version was finished later so had a lot of the "tweaks" in the console patch.

That sounds good, if you haven't noticed anything it sounds like it's possibly better than the consol versions.

I am definitely interested in the PC version. I have to do more research though. Mostly on the modding front, and how much deeper they are able to dive into this series as a whole.

MVP's editor and depth spoiled us, I would love to see almost that level of modding to it!

No stuttering on my end here.

As for modding - I know moddingway.com had good edits to roster/equipment/ball - etc for 2k10.

Just to let you know, mods are in the works, also a guy is creating a roster editor as we speak. Once he is done, we should be able to alter every inch of the game.

Also the level of graphics details you can get from the PC version, surpasses all console versions...

The Proof is in the pudding!!!

Does anyone know if there is "auto" fielding or a "manage only" type mode (graphically?)?
