The main point I was trying to make is that no one on the Marlins is either feared or a crowd drawing player. Stanton has the potential to be that player, but he is still to raw and swings at way too many bad pitches. However, his injury could have him trying to overcompensate at the plate.

I don't think the Marlins have the team to pack that stadium every night. Once the initial coolness of the park wears off, the crowds are going to dip.

The crowd drawing may be right for now until Stanton full develops into hopefully that star player.

But I think Hanley/Stanton strike fear into pitchers, both have tremendous power and with Hanley having a better sense at the plate being more seasoned.

Attendance has been solid since the Opener, announced attendance has been around 25-30K I think maybe a bit more in a weekend game or 2 and it looks that way on TV. Were a lot more fans for a day weekday game yesterday then probably all of them combined last season lol.

New stadium is awesome, it felt like being at an actual ballpark. The roof alone makes the game a lot more enjoyable then previous games and it looks better then the Tropicana Dome

Pitching/Defense have been carrying the Fish so far this season as even being near last with RISP and guys in the lineup under performing still above .500

Gaby Sanchez has been sent down to AAA to hopefully work out his slump down there, while seemingly LoMo/Dobbs will man 1B

Sucks what happened with Omar and Boni in the matter of a day or two.
