Braves gonna jump right into division play. 12 of the first 15 games in April are against the Mets & Marlins,
the other 3 are inter-league at the Blue Jays.

FanGraphs projects us to have the second-worst record in baseball this year at 71-91. Only the Phillies are projected to be worse.

It's going to be strange to watch a team with little to no expectations. But maybe we can sneak up on some people.

Until the Nats signed Max Scherzer my own expectations, however unrealistic, were still pretty high.

But now I'm less sure we can hang with Washington.

1)Nats
2 & 3) Braves & Marlins too close to call
4)Mets
5)Phillies

Uhm…somehow I missed this a few years ago. The song is stupid, but the players are pretty funny. Man, I already miss the days of Huddy, BMac, Ross, Prado, Chipper, etc.

So what exactly is Hart's strategy with these moves this offseason? Is it the hope that refreshing the farm system will put these new guys on the field in ATL in a few years, or is it to keep from spending money on new contracts and extensions now but then have talent to trade for new players in a couple years? With the loss of all my favorite Braves over the past 3-4 seasons now, just wondering outside of Freeman, Simmons, and Kimbrel if I should get attached to anyone. I know Peraza is suppose to be the 2B of the future, so looking forward to him. And Shelby Miller is a plus and hopefully Toscano, Mike Foltynewicz and Max Fried will turn out.

Hart is building for the future 2017 and beyond.

If didn't see the news Fredi isn't going anywhere. He has 1 year left but has support of Bobby and others, they are waiting to see if he works with Hart, but since Wren wanted to fire him and that was part of the reason Wren got fired, I don't see how the part-time Hart will have enough power to fire him.

I think us winning 71 games is pessimistic. Probably have one of the 3 or 4 best pitching staffs in the national league. Even with abysmal offense, I think that'll be enough to get to around 80 wins.

I found this on youtube…it's 47 minutes long, but well worth the watch. Brings back such great memories and I love all the Skip/Pete audio. I miss these teams!
