For example- Bubba Starling becomes Bubba Marling. That would make it easy for any bum to go and change the letters for the player. Would this be allowed? Even if they couldn't do this could they just completely change the names?

What if...
Sony incorporated all minor leaguers roster by just giving all the players their correct height/weight and attributes, but changing a letter or two in their name and saying that the player is made up.

Re: What if...
But everything about the players on NCAA except for (mostly) equipment and names are modeled after the players. Something like that would be awesome for minor leaguers IMO.Comment

Re: What if...
But unlike college, these guys are professionals. They make thier money playing game of baseball. I believe it has more to do with covering thier own butts and avoiding a "likeness" lawsuitComment

Re: What if...
No one can make money off their likenesses without the MLBPA's say so. Minor league guys are not covered by the CBA and you can't make money off them without their permission either (you'd have to get individual agreements and award compensation, too).#24Comment
