    2013 OSFM v3: Pitch Edits

Hey all, I'm still planning on releasing a pitch edits version of the OSFM set even though SCEA is associated with MLB now and therefore gameday and all of the sites that pull data from it (Fangraphs, Texas Leaguers, etc.). I'm still in the data collecting phase, but you can track my progress here. Of course there's some secret stuff that you won't find in the spreadsheet, can't give up all of the goods lol

Anyway, on to what will be in the set:

    - Accurate repertoires for every MLB player based on the classifications from Brooks Baseball, which are then converted into The Show pitch types by me
    - Accurate repertoires for various minor leaguers that have f/x data available
    - Equipment/Accessory edits for every MLB player and top prospects (Run if you want to jump in here let me know)
    - More top prospect CAPs that I didn't get to in v1
Bakin' soda, I got bakin' soda

...and here I thought I was good to go with v2 !

Not to diminish Knight's and the others' work, but this is a solid complement to an already great OSFM roster, that I might just have to wait for before I start my franchise. Is it too early for an ETA ? No pressure, as this looks like a lot of work, just trying to determine if I should have a bit of franchise fun in the meantime.

Shooting for the middle of May, mainly because I like to have ~1 month of new data. Unlike last year I already have a solid foundation, so I expect things to go much more quickly this year.

Love the pitch edits. It's not really the same game without them.

This years game did a much, much better job with pitch repertoires out of the box. There are still quirks like 87-89 mph sliders with huge break, most change-ups should be circle-changes (if not all), but all in all editing pitches is much easier this year. Last year it was a train wreck.

These are the icing on the cake year after year for me. seanjeezy, you do very fine work and I appreciate your attention to detail. RnS holds things down on the equipment side.

                  Thanks guys!

thanks, ur pitch edits were fantastic last year!
                    just a quick question:
Does "Equipment/Accessory edits for every MLB player" includes some players' faces redone?? because some players just don't look right out of the box
thanks again for the great work

These are the one set of edits I wait for every year once the initial OSFM has come out.

I'm going to get started on the MLB equipment/accessory edits since those are the easiest.

I like to keep the SCEA players in regardless of how they look, they might have specific commentary or something of that nature

Are u saying that if u import a CAP player over a SCEA player, the special commentary and stuff will be gone? (Even if the CAP and the SCEA player have name and other things remain the same, only the face is redone)
Thanks again, can't wait for ur edits!

Not to dissuade you at all and thanks for all the years where these were absolutely needed but this is the first year where I feel that SCEA got it right straight out the gate. But just to see where you're at where do you think they missed
