    Using a hd widescreen tv.......

Did anyone play last years game and use a widescreen tv? Just curious to see if the game still looked good. I know its not a HD game but i play my games on a widescreen. Thanks

i used a HD widescreen and even had the mostercable setup and optical sound cable.
Game still looked great. You see a bit more jaggies because of the larger screen, but the game still looked great.

i didn't notice any stretching or anything like that either. There was a wide camera if i remember correctly.

Im cool too then. I have about 10k actually in my HDTV and 7.1DD setup, and with all the monster cable I have...lets see, all 7 speakers are wired by it, plus the sub's cable is speacially made for it, both my Xbox and PS2, plus monster opticial for both consoles and even one for my high-def cable box I guess I am a Monster Cable sale rep's wet dream, lmao.

I wont list the components, some might think I am just showing off :P

It was mention earlier in another post, but the game DOES NOT support Progressive Scan. It does however support widescreen. I have pretty much the same set up, HD Widescreen, Digital Out, Monster Component...... I do wish it was Progressive Scan, but it seems there are so few Progressive Scan games out on the market for PS2.

What exactly is your problem anyway? I've seen you give the same immature "you're so cool" attitude to another user in another thread for mentioning his HD tv.

First of all, the monster cable was a typo and not meant to be one word. I just didn't catch it when i posted the message. Second of all, i'm a 30 year old adult. Does it seem that i'm bragging about having a nice home theater system? Give it a break, I answered in a thread about a concern a fellow user has. That is hardly showing off, gloating, or bragging. It's helping out someone who asked a question.

Grow up kid. You might want to leave the jealousy out of OS. It's very transparent and gets old extremely fast. You're only serving to make yourself look like quite the idiot.

just ignore him, the kids a tool. I'm glad you gave all that info, it let me know of the exact setup you had, and whether or not the game looked ok with it. So....yah, when can I come over and play
