Your TV Setup
I'm trying to look at what HDTV is best for the PS3. I'm looking at a 32" something and preferably under $600. What is your tv? and How does the Show look on it?Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. More democratic. ~From the movie Bull Durham

I have a 37" vizio I got for 799.00 when 07 came out. I actually bought the TV just to play the show '07 in high def and I was completely blown away. Now with '09, '07 doesn't even compare LOL. I'm sure you can pick up a vizio 32' for around 6 bills. In fact I found a link to ao good one.

I play on my PC monitor. A 24" Dell S2409W, which does 1080P and has HDMI. Looks great with the show, although, you do need to run the audio to another source. got it for $249 on sale a couple months ago.
Also have a 46" 1080p sharp TV, but don't use that much with the ps3.Comment

I have a 32" Envision tv. Looks awesome! HDMI as well. Eventhough 1080i i believe is the highest it can go, but still looks crisp!
Also the projection tv.. my friend (the one whom i bought the tv from for 200 i believe) has one and the graphics doesn't look as good for the games. LCD is the best choice if you want to play games on.Comment

Re: Your TV Setup
If your biggest concern is how The Show will look on your TV, Panasonic makes 720p plasma sets near the $700 mark. (I know your budget is $600, but thought I'd throw this out there anyway)
You don't need 1080p for this game, since it natively runs in 720p. Plus, 1080p doesn't become an improvement until your TV is over 50 inches in size, which you probably won't be at your price point.
Save some money and stick with 720p, and go with a trusted brand. I have a 50 inch Samsung 1080p plasma that I love, but Panny makes great sets at lower prices. I also can't say enough how much I prefer plasma over LCD. I have both. Plasma will save you a few bucks nowadays over LCD anyway.Comment

Re: Your TV Setup
I have a 32" Samsung (LN32A450) in 720p that I'm really happy with. The picture looks great for both the PS3 and HD television, even close up. I got it for $600 here in Canada a few months ago, and I saw a similar 32" Samsung going for a bit less than that at a Best Buy on a recent trip to the U.S.
Before this television, I had an LG 32" for a day. I returned it because it had a dead pixel in the centre of the screen, but the overall picture quality was inferior to the Samsung.Comment
