Re: "NP Auth Failed: ticket data size mismatch"

Ok, I tried logging into a different account and I can log into sportsconnect there. This means it has to be tied to the classic stadiums. I had to purchase them, did not have a code for them. It is a lame work around, but it works. I'm on hold with tech support right now. Doubt they'll be much help but who knows. So workaround is a different psn profile

Re: "NP Auth Failed: ticket data size mismatch"

hmm, so my trophies and friend list will be on a foreign account..
nor really the best solution but i appreciate the info
that definitely singles out the problem to being the purchase of the stadiums. not sure if i want my whole file to be tied to an alternate user account. i guess theres no way to delete the stadium info from my system memory

further proof that the stadiums are glitched is the fact that you have to sign into PSN just for them to be unlocked. after i purchased them, they should be permanently unlocked, offline and online. as i mentioned before, this is a specific error code that has to mean something to one of the devs out there.

any luck with tech support scoop? im still thinking i should stick with another game until this is resolved. if im gonna put 100's of hours into a sport sim, its gonna have to be on my primary account and its gonna have to work with the things i spent real cash money on. whos to say that downloading rosters wont get us right back in this mess. theres clearly a wormhole in the structure and its still there

Re: "NP Auth Failed: ticket data size mismatch"

They took down my report of the matter but the ones who will work on it are off till Monday. If I were you I'd call them too. The more reports the better.

I tried their workaround but no help so it's wait till monday. Oh, and downloading rosters doesn't hurt it. Tested that on the new profile

Re: "NP Auth Failed: ticket data size mismatch"

sounds like a plan. which number are you calling?
i'll be glad to file a report too.

crazy how there's no way to delete the stadium unlock download from your system. theres just the one bulk file in the PS3 memory which must include the installation file, the update data and the DLC. when my last PS3 was stolen i had all kinds of problems redownloading various DLC that was all tied to my serial number,
but most games like Burnout Paradise still had individual files for each download.

im not even gonna try starting a new game on a different profile as that would just be more frustrating making progress with a ghost profile. i appreciate you trying it though and letting us know it worked. if you want to add "wharphrat" to your PSN friends maybe we can keep in touch till this gets resolved.

Small world. I was there in 01 and still live in the pine belt.

I'm calling the number in the front of the game's instruction menu. Not close to it so can't just post it.
