havent been able to connect to sportconnect again since last night, always get the message:

"NP Auth Failed: ticket data size mismatch"
please login again later.

this has been going on for 12 hours now.
any idea what this is about? i did delete all my saves once to get back to all default menu options, but had never played any online games. only connected to sportconnect a few times just to browse leagues and all. any help? ive been waiting till this weekend to get online and now the weekend is here and i cant get online at all..

Did you ever find out what the problem was? If it happend to you then chances are it is going to happen to someone else.

nope, have no idea what the problem is. hasnt been mentioned by anyone else, anywhere else. i figure this would be the only place i may find an answer or a fix. i went ahead and restarted from scratch again and still getting the same message.
last night i had no problem logging into sportconnect
i think i had registered for an online league last thing before i logged off. then when i woke up today i got that message and have gotten that message every single time since then. was looking forward to jumping online this weekend. so much for those plans

Did you check your router settings etc (if you have a router) and make sure it is NAT Type 2?

NAT Type 2 is on.
ive gotten several demos this week from the PSN and downloads have been super fast. i dont think this is a network problem.
this seems to be related to my the show file

Did you try deleting all the game data and reinstalling the game?

yup, ive done that twice! totally reset all progress twice and back to scratch. now i dont even want to touch the game if im gonna have to restart yet again..
if noone can help then i guess i just have an offline game with no chance of rosters or online leagues. hope it doesnt happen to anyone else, or maybe if it does start happening then they will work on a patch

Make a report in the Bugs and Glitches thread stickied at the top.

Explain what you did before it happened.

I am having the same issue. Hope we get an answer soon. Had no issues until I downloaded the classic stadiums

interesting, i also downloaded the classic stadiums last night.
i think we may be narrowing this down now...
cant find a way to just delete the stadium data from my PS3.
shouldve known not to download anything thats been out less than a week

What really sucks is we are most likely screwed for a month. I love buying a game and not using a huge part of it for a month. Blah. I want my money back for the classic stadiums

yup, major buzzkill. ive only been playing practice games since tuesday while waiting for these other issues to be worked out.
been counting the days till this weekend to jump online too.
the worst part is, im not certain we wont have to restart again to fix this so i dont want to restart RTTS or any Franchise again if its just gonna be erased again. oh well, guess i have a month for batting practice

You don't DL anything for the classic stadiums.

They are already on the disc. It just enables them in your PSN account. That is all.

I have them enabled, newest patch, etc, and I am able to connect to sports connect and play online.

Guys,

There are good workarounds for almost all the franchise issues.

Once the new roster update drops on Monday, I am starting mine no problems.
