CES Show questions and or suggestions for me to ask

Hi, I am leaving for Vegas on Monday and plan to go to all 4 days of the CES Show. I have my own questions and suggestions to the SCEA Rep which I assume will be Russell again. He was very nice and cooperative last year so fire away at anything you want me to ask or check out about The Show 12.

I plan to spend a lot of time with the game if I am able. If you see a question you really want answered, go ahead and quote that user. I will do my absolute best for you guys and I will try to update the week of the show but if not, I get home the following Sunday and will do so then.

I would just love to hear how the pitch speed is when set to 0 compared to last year at 0. I really need the ability to slow it down some more or the game just gets too frustrating for me. Thanks.

In '11 you had to press L1 and then base button

Pressing L1 causes your pitcher to step off the mound before throwing. In order to do other pickoffs you have to:

Press L2 and tap the base button, that is the casual move.
Press L2 and hold the base button, that is the quick move.
Press L2 and double tap the base button, that is the deceptive move.

I had the same trouble too, but I figured it out a couple of weeks ago.

One question; has the fantasy draft logic been improved?

In 11, I could draft a 18yo, Apot, future Hall of Famer in the 20th round, while the CPU is drafting 30yo closers in the 1st round.

Right after the draft, I can trade that very same 20th rounder for a player the CPU drafted in the 5th round.

Trade logic not only seems to be completely different than fantasy draft logic, it seems to be smarter.

In fantasy draft, it seems the CPU will never dig deep to take a player. They will always pick the highest rated player. The only exception is age. I do see the CPU pass up older players, and dig for a younger player.

Perhaps the CPU logic can do this for more than just age. It needs to look at age, POT, years left before arbitration, years left before contract, etc.
