Can't decide who to do a franchise (need opinions)

I'm currently looking at starting a new chise and can't pick between the A's and the Pirates gone through pros and cons of each team and still not decided I have always played in the NL in previous franchises so moving to the AL is a new thing for me.. I'm not too fond of playing with a DH but I'm

You might get bored not having to use your bench so much in the AL. The stadium is so much better in PIT as well. Bit I started a PIT franchise and found it too easy. Good system and no glaring holes except SS and McDonald hit enough and was superb defensively for me. I don't know what to tell you. We seem to have similar tastes. I went with SD and it is much more of a challenge.

Tough call. As the previous poster said, PNC Park is beautiful. I think Oakland would be more enjoyable and challenging over the long-term being in the AL West. Sounds like you can't go wrong either way.

Thanks for the input guys Oakland is def a challenge since with the Angels and rangers being pretty good teams plus the mariners aint no easy beats. To me the pirates seem a bit easy have a stacked farm system and a pretty good squad as well as a pretty good pitching rotation as well and a division that bar the reds and cards is pretty manageable.

Im leaning Oakland but like the first poster said don't wana get bored without making all the subs and strategic battles of in the NL since the Al has the DH rule.

Cubs: 1 Wild Card Berth, 5 Division Titles, 15 Pennants and 2 WS Titles
Rays: 1 Wild Card Berth, 2 Division Titles, 1 Pennant and 0 WS Titles
O's: 2 Wild Card Berths, 8 Division Titles, 7 Pennants and 3 WS Titles

Rays


A's are way better than probably any team I selected so ya I agree with all the posters

Srsly consider SD, easy division BUT you have to be creative to get runs and there is a good challenge there, nice stadium as well.

Between those two teams I'd pick Oakland and not just because I'm an AL guy. I'd also consider Cleveland or Tampa Bay though.
