Need National League Team for Rebuilding

Hey guys,

I can't decide on what NL team to use for my next franchise. Over the last few years, I've been using the Cubs because they've always need to be rebuilt.

So most of the time, I'd just replace their crappy minor league guys with my college friends (who mostly are on the baseball team) and develop them realistically. Like it would take the top pitcher 2-3 years to reach the majors, the average player 3-5 years, etc.

But now that the Cubs are already in the middle of rebuilding and have a solid minor league system, I don't want to mess that up.

So what I'm looking for is for an NL team that's already bad AND have a bad minor league system too, so I can replace the minor leagues with my friends.

I've considered the Rockies and possibly the Giants. I know the Giants just won a WS last season, but they're aging and also have a meh minor league system as well.

I will NOT use the Marlins because I hate their stadium that much (stupid CF statue, lol).

I've thought about using the Astros, but now they're in the AL, I don't want to play with them (hate the DH rule).

So...any suggestions?

Padres, Rockies, Phillies, Mets

Those were all teams that I looked at this year myself, but instead of going with a rebuilding team I went with the Braves.

SD and ARI have very good prospect depth, but could be options.

Phillies have the 20th ranked farm system as of right now, and you could use Holliday, Lee, Rollins, Utley, Michael Young and Delmon Young as trade bait.



The Brewers are ranked 23rd in the farm system rankings. Lohse, Axford, Gallardo, Braun if you want to trade him, and a handful of others could be trade bait.

I'd say the brewers or phillies would be intriguing to use in this situation

Despite an obvious bias, I wouldn't say Arizona are rebuilding right now.

Give it 2-3 years.

If you want a project I'd say go for the Marlins, Pirates, Mariners, or Orioles. If you want to start with something almost there I'd say Braves, Reds, Blue Jays, or Nationals.
