Patch Support for the Vita Version of MLB 13: The Show?

I'm wondering if the Vita version of the Show 13 will receive the full patch support this year? Is there any info on that yet?
Probably the Vita has some different glitches as the PS 3 version but I'm thinking of gameplay related issues like the first pitch meatball bug, the player regression or the low K rates in franchise mode which SCEA is working on now.

I really don't feel like buying the game until I know this things will also be fixed for the Vita version.

Yes, it will... the devs stated that because of the newness of the Vita version, they felt it was too risky to patch it last year. And FYI, it has already received a release day update.

Thanks a lot for the info thaSlab!

Now, knowing that the player progression and many other things are in progress to be fixed (for the Vita version), I can finally purchase my copy of The Show 13

So the PS 3 Version of MLB 13: The Show got a title update now. Any idea when we will get one for the VITA Version?

Has anyone tested cloud saves now between PS3 and vita since the ps3 got the update and not the vita? Is it corrupted?

LOL, the context of your post makes it seem like you want it to be corrupt.

Apparently not many would notice or care if it was judging by the fact that very few even noticed/cared that they did not release patch yet for vita. In reality if they don't release one in the next week, then likely what we have is what got as they move on to 14. But what is not funny is the people that invested $$$ in the vita and have been loyal supporters of this game to not have the issues, some vita specific, some franchise issues resolved.

I'm going to be extremely upset if there is no vita patch. Really disappointing since the Show is the reason I bought a vita. Devs or anyone have an answer?

It's not that most of us don't care or notice. It is that we are confident enough in SCEA to do the right thing with what they can.

I was unable to make it out there this year to San Diego like I usually do, however thaSLAB confirmed that they are more stable with the Vita, and would be able to have more confidence patching it.

So I will remain patient. They hear yor cries. Trust me.

Ok so I don't understand why it would be such a bummer...if you own both like I do then you most likely use the vita to continue your franchise using the ps3 as the main console for gameplay. I've been playing exhibition so far for both and really enjoy the vita version. The main issue I have for both is the cpu lineup logic which didn't get patched anyway so what is the big fuss? Am I missing something?

I think SCEA could release an absolutely perfect Vita game with no bugs at all, and people would still be clamoring for a patch.

So Vita users should just shutup?

No if they released a perfect game we would be ecstatic. But that's not what we have here. I don't need to recite the bug issues of the vita, a good portion of them are some of the same issues in the PS3 version and some of them are exclusive to the vita. Many bought the game last year as a package, to use cloud saves, only to have this rendered useless when the PS3 received the final patch(you know the one that fixed start times in schedules) So you can see why we are worried when have not heard a word from the developers, even a "hey still were working on it" would be awesome.
