We don't come to OS too often anymore, so X is still the best place for updates.

We've worked on almost 400 players thus far. I'm hesitant to give an update...I don't want to jinx it. Safe to say we're happy with the progress this year.

Why is that if you don’t mind me asking? I know OS is more of a niche audience, but considering this project got its start here, I figured there’d still be a bit of nostalgia amongst the team

My guess is the sense of entitlement that used to develop around it. People demanding and asking daily to know when the roster was going to be released.

Hmmm interesting. If I made something that people were clamoring for, even to the point of being pushy, I’d be quite proud of my work. But of course that’s just me. I can understand why it would put different personality types off. But at the same time I can’t imagine the people on “Twitter/X” of all place are less entitled than those at OS lol

You can ignore the bots and annoying people on twitter. You can’t really do that here.

For the great membership that OS has, there’s also a ton of toxicity here too that people think is “just criticism” so why put yourself through all that when you can ignore it and just post updates once your are ready?

Lol and twitter x replies would not be asking that 100 times more ??? Not to mention what a toxic place it is YouTubers reporting twitter posts as facts and news drives me crazy

No completely not. Posts here wouldn’t be reported as facts or news by mainstream media like twitter does. If twitter started posting about how they hate DD mode and franchise is untouched then it would be news.

I’ve seen twitter its nothing but trolling fishing rubbish , and it gives YouTuber “ journos” news they can report on.

Seriously I miss when we were are community here on ps3 days with was it knight ? Good times

I think he still plays, he just doesn't come around here no more. That's a shame, he's a legend.
