I hope I'm wrong, but it's possible that the Negro League stuff got all the attention this year. The Negro League storylines are cool, and legends are great, but it's about time we see some of the modern game IMO.

I hope I'm wrong, but it's possible that the Negro League stuff got all the attention this year. The Negro League storylines are cool, and legends are great, but it's about time we see some of the modern game IMO.

Even the negro league player models were terrible. Outside of the Jersey, Jackie Robinson looked like a cartoon. And that footage said “Captured On Next Gen Hardware “

I am tired of MLB The Show on my $500 PS5 looking like a PS4 game!

Clearly one of the issues is the MLB The Show development team is just to small!!!

100% agree

The Jerseys are better with better placement of the number on the back. And the detail looks better. But the player faces and skin still look like they are from PS4 versions and definitely not what should be possible on the PS5!

I just feel like MLB The Show has been stuck in quick sand for many years now and is being developed by a bunch of turtles. lol

I just love this game so much and want it to look like a true next gen PS5 game.

The exact same. I grew up watching playing baseball. And obviously I love to the game. The one game I care about most, looks absolutely disgusting year in year out lol

until they drop ps4 this will be a copy and paste with a lighting or two update. Looks like all resources went to Negro leagues. Nothing about that screenshot screams next gen or " new".
