PS5 upgrade worthwhile?

‘22 looks and plays amazing on my LG C2 OLED 4k with my PS4. The Show is the only PS game I play, is it worthwhile to upgrade to PS5 now that they are more readily available?

what's your interest in created stadiums?
I almost moved on to next-gen just because created stadiums are importantish to me
but at the end of the day I couldn't pull the trigger.
the ps4pro is still good enough for me for one more year,
I can wait until at least Show 24 before upgrading

Unless you just have to have Created Stadiums, I don't think its worth the upgrade of $500.

The PS5 with 22 is amazing on my 4kTV. 23 should be even better. I could never go back to my PS4.

Once I played The Show on my PS5 with my LG C1 TV, I could never go back to PS4. It absolutely makes a difference on your TV setup, so with you having the C2, I would say yes it's definitely worth it.

It's going to be 50/50 here.

The game definitely runs smoother on the PS5. I definitely enjoy it on the PS5.

But if you only play one game, that's debatable if it is worth it. If you were going to play other PS5 titles that take advantage of the system it is totally worth it.

For MLB alone, it's in the middle.

I'm on a C2 as well. After several hundred games playing the PS4 version of 21, I upgraded to the PS5 version. I have no regrets.

I found the game unplayable in 4K on the PS4 Pro. No issues on the PS5. PS5 also brings faster loading times and the weird texture glitches are largely gone.

If you're planning on buying MLB 23/24/25/etc., then I say go for it. You're going to have to upgrade eventually anyway.
