How often do they update rosters? Just wondering with the Cease move and Snell signing

in last stream someone said every week ( mostly Fridays but sometimes can be a Thursday). For ratings, it's roughly every 3 weeks.

But no mention when it starts though.

I could be way off, but I would think soon after the season starts, we'd get a first roster update .

Do they ever put new face scans in with the roster updates ?? I know they were in Cardinals camp doing face scans couple weeks ago and these need to be in the game. Jordan Walker looks nothing like real life

I thought they had to wait until two weeks into the season to add first time big league players, could be wrong

Last year it wasn’t until 3 weeks after the season started…I really hope it’s not that long this year. I wanna get my franchise started.

Do we have any inkling that this year will be a little different due to the South Korea series? Just so happen to have lots of international players making their MLB debuts 3/20 and 3/21 a week before every other team’s opening day

I think people are going to be disappointed, but I don’t think the rosters are going to be updated until a couple of weeks after “actual” opening day. I don’t mean the Korean games but the opening day where everybody plays. I don’t see SDS doing a roster update for just two teams. But I could be wrong. That’s why I wasn’t a big fan of the game being released so early in March this year. At least with April release we usually got a decent roster update just a couple of weeks after the game came out

I admittedly know nothing about the actual programming of rosters for the game, but I imagine they have all these guys done and ready to go. They just have to legally wait until they play a game in the majors. I would think they could make tons of paying customers happy with very little work by quickly getting this roster update out…. Unfortunately I bet you are right though
