They sure throw a lot when I keep swinging at them, I can tell you that much.
Yeah, I don't know what they're talking about. Unless it's a specific combo of settings triggering it (that I assume they would've mentioned?), the CPU has been pretty balanced for me.Comment

Lower difficulty in general, not just Conquest, which is why it's in General and not the DD section of the notes. IDK if Veteran was affected, but Rookie definitely was (which is where a lot of people who blast through Conquest play). Certainly nothing higher as I've been playing All-Star through Legend since launch (some testing, some DD, and my main difficulty is Legend), and I've seen the usual mix of both balls and strikes (and walks/strikeouts) on those levels.
Glad someone noticed this and knew the general reason for it before the fires started over here.

Also, I do think they could have done a better job wording that line about the excessive ball rate so as not to confuse the sim community. At least, assuming this will only affect what I think it will.
Other stuff.....I'm curious what "Various UI improvements for improved legibility" means - if it means less white in the UI overall, or font changing in the menus/national theme, etc. Also don't see anything about the repetitive crowd chants and am hoping that's baked into "Various commentary and presentation updates and adjustments".
All that said, it's Opening Day tomorrow and I probably won't get to do much messing around with this patch until later on.Comment

First game post patch, Harrison Bader has been updated and Strider now has his curveball. I'm playing franchise mode, so some updates have been made to players.

I posted this in the uniform error and omissions thread too, the patch had a bunch of uniform fixes in it that weren’t listed in the patch notes.
1. Nationals new alt now has the correct color stars
2. Cubs ‘94 away cap and helmet is now correctly with red brim
3. Reds “Mr. Red” alt buttons now are correctly red and socks are now red
4. Brewers city connect navy blue accents now are darker
5. Diamondbacks cream jersey now has red sleeves, belt, and socks
6. Diamondbacks black alt now has black sleeves and socks
7. Diamondbacks grey jersey now worn with black sleeves
8. Diamondbacks batting helmets are now glossy
9. Diamondbacks shade of red I think looks better? Wondering what others think
10. Dodgers ad patch added
11. Padres navy ‘99 socks are now correct
12. A’s 1955 socks are now correct
13. Rangers home uniform with red cap now has red beltComment

Noticed that when the CPU throws to first, it now displays how many they have left. Didn’t see that before the patch.
