Almost every team got some new face scans. Here’s a list for the Red Sox along with which scans have corrupted eyes or glitch face. I submitted a bug report to SDS.

The corrupted eyes are either misplaced or graphically corrupted. The glitch face is a generic placeholder face that is occasionally assigned to players whose likeness is removed for one reason or another or who may receive a face scan in a roster update.CarefreeComment

Got to play a little bit on the PS4 version this morning because people were noticing some pretty serious Diamond Dynasty issues and I hopped on to check it out. Also played an exhibition Cubs cs. Marlins on default Legend and was able to draw 4 walks off the Fish pitching staff. All from the bullpen - Luzardo didn't issue one but I still got into plenty of deep counts against him. Also robbed myself of a walk or two swinging and missing at ball 4. Once the pen was in I really started seeing pitches way off the plate that were easy to take.
If anything did change regarding ball rate on the upper levels, it might be that the CPU will take greater advantage of you being too passive - and then you really will never walk. If you swing at strikes (especially deep ones in the middle of the zone) consistently, it will try to get you out by throwing around the edges and outside the zone more - and that's where the walks usually come from.
Will play a little more before I get the PS5 version downloaded (holding off until I get a good picture of where the AI's pitching strategy sits, and if I like it better on the old version). But like I said before - it's Opening Day and I'm not gonna dwell too much on the update today.Comment

Did they fix CPU invalid lineups in Custom Leagues?

I believe I know the answer but want to confirm since it was a patch and not a roster update.. if I had started working on a roster file will these new scans be updated in to what I had saved before the patch? Seems like Jordan Walkers has but I hadn’t looked at him prior to the patch so I’m not sure.

The glitch face happened to Enmanuel Valdez and Josh Winckowski on the first roster update. The good news is Winckowski received a face scan today replacing the glitch face and the scan is decent i.e. the eyes are not crazy looking.CarefreeComment

Garcia (TEX) fuller beard
Clase (CLE) new hair
Etc etc
I could go on- seems to be many of them- some are very subtle and I’m not sure they’re an update or day one.
