This is where the way SDS does the licensing makes absolutely no sense. You have players who have been in the game before yet they have to jump through all of these hoops again and again and again to get their rosters right. I've gotten to the point where I'm just rolling with the CAPs from the vault. That way I'm not starting my season in June when they finally have all of the signatures they need to have all of the MLB players eligible for their MLB game.

I would tend to lean that Sony doesn't set the rules for licensing. I would bet MLB tells Sony how it's going be, then Sony has to color within the lines.

I cannot say with 100% certainty that this is related to the patch..but I can say that I never saw this before today.

I'm in year two and the ticker gets even better post draft and all-star break IMO. Sometimes I get caught watching the ticker too much haha

I saw a hanging changup in the game before the patch. lol just kidding.

I did see the prospect highlights on the score bug before the patch when I was simming ahead to test sliders. It is a really cool add that is with a lot of small additions/uodates that add up to a lot that doesn’t really get highlighted in the game.

There are more presentational stat pop ups on the scorebug.

As for commentary there are new lines and it seems to have a better flow.

Re: team chants — I couldn’t even tell you if they’re less frequent or not. Seems to still be happening plenty. I don’t think that’s entirely the issue though. What I think is a bigger deal is how it’s balanced. Specifically I think it would be fine if it sounded like it was 20-40% of one section doing the chanting. That would prolly sound pretty sick. But as is, it sounds like it’s 1/5th the stadium. That’s why it vibes as too loud and too frequent: because it’s absurd that that many people would be chanting that often, that loud.

Similar ridiculous oversight is how at NYM you can see massive jet airliners fly overhead every so often, yet they make literally zero sound.
