I wish I already knew the release date.
I wish you could have NRI's in Spring Training.
I wish Single A rosters would increase to 25, even if remained unplayable games.
I wish the draft was fifteen rounds.
    I wish options were editable.
I wish Mets Juan Soto was the cover athlete.
I wish I didn't have so many wishes, and I already had all of these things five years ago.
I wish I had three more wishes.

Soto does fit in the category of having a younger ish player on the cover. You might get your wish.

I gotta think a release date is coming soon.

Yeah, what I really wish for in regards to the cover, I already know I'll never get:
A triumvirate of Soto, Lindor and Alonso, provided he re-signs with us.

What more could I add lol, NRI would be amazing and make spring training more useful. Single A rosters having more players and having them generate stats would be killer. more options editable like coaches would be great. And well Soto that is a given my fellow Mets fan

I wish for spring training I could set my opening day roster instead of it happening automatically. It takes the fun out of position battles and kind of makes spring training pointless.

On the last day of Spring Training, go ahead and make your roster moves and set up your Opening Day roster. it will stick when the game transfers from ST to regular season.

                this is what I do.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I can confirm, if all your roster and lineups settings are at manual, you can set your opening day roster before you start the regular season and it will stick.

I’d like more realistic GM goals.

A more realistic budget where small market teams really feel like ownership won’t provide you the dollars to get that star player thus making it more difficult to build the roster
                    .
More back and forth with free agents rather than just making an offer and waiting until they sign.

Yeah I'm with ya. I love rebuilds and the challenge of small market teams. Right now I have to utilize 30 team control and my own "house rules" to make it feel realistic.

Same for me with the 30 team control. I try year after year to get into OOTP due to their in depth systems and I never can. I just need to see graphics when i play

I would love for them to provide us with some real authentic true accessories. We've seen over the years that the players are now wearing custom colored gears. I would love it if they actually made it so that we can choose the strap color, background color, and logo color of all accessories (and please update the color schemes!)

I had an idea at one point for a story based franchise mode called The Expansion. Basically you could choose this story mode option, and the story would be about 2 new expansion teams in the mlb. There would be a pre defined list of locations for the team. Probably the top 10 most likely cities to get a team. You'd take on the role of owner of one team and the other would be the antagonist of the story. The goal would be to out perform the other tea, with various goals and milestones. At the beginning you'd be able to select your "class type". For example an eccentric billionaire/lifelong fan, former player partnered with a firm, the leader of a corporation. Each one would come with perks and penalties, such as the billionaire has deeper pockets but less knowledge about the game so it would take longer to scout or you'd have less information about the quality of staff you hire; former players would get player and scouting boosts but the least amount of funding; corporations would be more middle of the road but might have stiffer consequences for failed goals and milestones. All these things would affect things like fan accumulation, player acquisitions, and available funds for customizing a stadium.

Then the story could be similar in visual design as NBA 2k my player. Interactions with your rival, played out consequences of making or missing goals, etc.

Unlikely to ever be in the game though as it would require a lot of time and resources to complete.
