I really, really can't believe that they're touting this as some big new feature. I'm sure the devs were told to add this in by someone higher up, but I'd be embarrassed to have to try to talk this up as something new and fresh.

I don't think I've heard a single person say "man I wish we had guess pitch back"

Call me crazy but it looks like they a focused on "new exciting" to sell the game instead of fixing fundamental problems.

Article brings up DD and ambush hitting…wish scea would allow certain lobby’s not to play on strike zone cams…this isn’t duck hunt or a first person shooter…suppose to be baseball…each year it seems this game is further and further from the actual sport that they are trying to represent.

I was really hoping for something more in depth on this. I've always wanted gameplay that better represents the pre-game scouting and planning that happens in baseball and was hoping this was going to be an attempt to present that. I haven't played the game a ton the last few years, but at bats always felt more like a random series of pitches than the battery actually attacking a weak spot or setting the batter up for something.

Much ado about nothing for me. I became a doubly better hitter when I stopped using guess pitch many years ago.

Lol, as I said a few days ago, the Ambush hitting is a total gimmick that was repackaged based on the old guess pitch feature. Just another feature that was removed and added back to sell copies.
