Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs& Glitches Thread.
Here are some I've noticed so far- Starling Marte's batting stance is still glitched with one of the generic stances
- Wrist guards still disappear when batting for some reason. This has been a glitch for years at this point, though it did work properly once upon a time
- Weird lighting glitch occurs on the batter's uniform when a pitch is selected. This has been an issue for years, but it's much more noticeable now with the new uniform models

I've been noticing it a ton and it seems like if I hold the stick even slightly after contact they are sliding into 1st. This wasn't an issue in years pastComment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs& Glitches Thread.
So I actually looked at this issue in more depth and it’s not all day games. It’s day games at the start of the year, mid-afternoon in the middle part, and then night games at the end of the year. Here is the actual issue below:
Issue: Start times incorrect for 4 teams
Detailed: For the 4 teams impacted, the start times for the first 3rd of the season at 1:00 PM, second 3rd 4:00 PM, and final 3rd 8:00 PM
Teams Impacted: Rays, White Sox, Guardians, and Astros
Season Impacted: Only impacts the first season. Issue is resolved when the game generated schedule is created in the second season
I’ll see if I can raise this in ticket on TSN website.Comment

Only happened once so far I’ve seen error happens on lead off and 0 out that every run even after that is counted as unearned runsComment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs& Glitches Thread.
Yes I am. It doesn't matter if I quickly release the stick after hitting, every time a runner goes to first either on a close play or a single to the outfield, they slide into first. But if I hit a ball in the gap fortunately they don't slide into first.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs& Glitches Thread.
I've only noticed two things consistently after playing about 15 games:
- Lighting on player pictures on scoreboards look washed out
- FPS drops dramatically in my stadiums while pitching with runners on base anytime using a camera from behind the pitcher (broadcast, outfield, etc.).
All in all, nothing game breaking, just more annoyances that I think will be fixed early in the release cycle.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs& Glitches Thread.
It's still available as a batting stance, so it hasn't been removed. His HR animation is still tied to it, but his stance is now the same as "Generic Stance 4." This has happened to other players in the past—I'm pretty sure Jed Lowrie had a generic stance in 21, but that was fixed by 22, IIRCComment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs& Glitches Thread.
Interesting, I thought it was removed last year because I didn’t see it. What’s funny is if you go to his batting stance it selects “Veteran Stance 327”, which looks a lot more like his actual stance. So I wonder if like you said it just got mapped to the wrong one.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs & Glitches
These glitches also have existed in the game for a couple of years, but hopefully they get addressed now- Uniform logos may randomly disappear in DD (not sure if this also happens offline with custom teams)
- Cleats sometimes have random colors on them (usually blue) towards the bottom for some reason. It almost looks like it should be dirt textures, but only in a vibrant shade of blue. Not really sure what causes this
- Custom uniform NOBs and numbers appear darker than the intended color, making uniforms look much worse than they should—especially when using lighter colors like white

Re: MLB The Show 25 Bugs & Glitches
I think it just seems that way because of the wider contrast. Lots of dark colors mixed with light colors. Also in game the lighting is improved so the lit up assets actually stand out now where as they were bland and darker last year. It’s a big improvement.Comment
