Looks great! One minor detail, that no baseball game has ever got right, is the Tigers home uniform belt loops. Just a unique look that, to my knowledge, only the Tigers uniform has.
(And yes I realize that only .01% of people will notice this and the game looks amazing, so don't think I'm complaining.)Comment

I don't want to be wrong because it's taken from The Show's Instagram, but it looks like somebody's been playing with the sharpening tool for that shot. I'm not saying they're trying to deceive us with making it look sharper, I'm saying the effect that I'm getting from that shot is hurting my eyes and is tough to look at.
The other pictures are a better indication of the softer look on the edges while maintaining the great resolution. I'll stick to those for now as a basis of what we're going to see when we get the game. I don't expect our televisions to have this amount of ringing and halos around the edges of every contrasting surface.
Nice shot, though. I really like the look of the fans in everything so far!
Oh, and congratulations to Miguel Cabrera. I can't believe he's already at 2,000 hits. For the scoreboard it was the same thing on the PS3 last year. I have the PS3 version of this years and its the same way. I do have a PS4 and planning on getting the show for it.Comment

You know it's solid when you can see the individual bricks on Ford Field. It does look touched up but most screen shots are anyway. They were not lying when they said signs and scoreboards actually have depth and geometry. You can't see much of it in the picture but look at the Tiger above the scoreboard. It looks exactly how it would in real life. Imagine what the statues in CF will look like as well as all of the other characteristics each park has. I'm going to go on record as saying that's definitely a PS3 screenshot. The crowds are a dead giveaway. Then you look at that brick texture on the facade and it screams "last-gen." Nothing about this screenshot looks even close to being on par with the actual confirmed PS4 screens.
I would be SHOCKED if a developer came and confirmed that was for the PS4.
EDIT: if it is a next-gen screenshot, I don't think it's full resolution.
I loved the PS4 screens we got a few weeks ago, this one doesn't excite me at all, doesn't look next-gen to me. So if I'm wrong about this being PS3, then count me slightly disappointed.Last edited by Madden's Jowels; 04-05-2014, 01:21 PM.Comment
