Re: Classic running

I was having issues as well. One big thing I noticed, I was a tapper with the R1/L1 buttons when trying to leg out an extra base hit in years past. Now I need to hold down the button until I'm sure that my player is advancing or retreating.

Re: Classic running

I kind of wish you can use the classic base running in RTTS the whole analog controls been screwing me over with my base running. The classic controls worked fine with PS3 version and not can run right there many times when trying to run it retreats me then advancing half way since the controls flip during the run

Re: Classic running

I am having an awful time doing something as simple as Advance all. What is going on. I hit in the gap so i press L1 for Advance All and they dont go...i press it again and they go but get caught in pickle or tagged out. Why isn't it smooth? I should be able to press L1 and the runners keep rounding the bases right?

Re: Classic running

I had a guy on first, the other guy his it in the gap..I get to third and stop him. But it's a bad throw so I want to go home but I just couldn't start him up again no matter what I did. This was in rtts so maybe it's different.

Re: Classic running

I can't figure out how to steal a base for the life of me. Is it L1, L2? I feel like both have worked, but my runners don't always run when I press them?

Yeah, i lost my first game last night because instead of my runner going home, and batter going to second, My batter went to second, and my runner went BACK to second. one of them got called out, they got out of the inning. (I lost by 1). I gotta try to figure out how to run with default running controls.

It's L2, you can either tap L2 and the runner will take off when the pitcher starts his motion, or hold L2 and release it when you want them to start running.
