With y2y you had that number of trades?

No. This was in a fresh MLB 15 Franchise.

With Instant Trades off, I had 12 and 9.

With Instant Trades on, I had 23.

Now let me ask you this, how would someone turn Instant Trades on using a Y2Y save? Isn't that an option you would have had to picked BEFORE starting the Franchise (meaning back in MLB 2014)?

Basically, let's forget for a second that my first three sims were using a Y2Y file and think more about the Instant Trade option.

With Instant Trades off, over five sims:

14 (Y2Y)
11 (Y2Y)
14 (Y2Y)
12 (2015)
9 (2015)

And the second I turn Instant Trades on get an approximate 40% increase:

23

Which is very similar to the totals you and Knight had. Let me guess, you both had Instant Trades on when you saw total trades in the 20's?

I can definitely sim more as this is a theory I have but my first sim toggling the feature was pretty shocking.

Makes sense in some respects.
With the 3 day window.....the trade proposed and being considered is under some fairly specific conditions.
In those three days and injury could occur which would probably negate one of the variables causing a "no" to the trade.
Good find and hopefully something they can look at if we do determine it's the case.

No way to turn instant trades on/off once you start though.
