I also think I'm just looking at every team through my own eyes - which means all of them will be basically using the same logic (mine), which we know is not true in real life (all teams don't use the same valuations, logic, strategies, etc) - so I don't think it's "realistic".

Plus, I'm not going to pretend I know now who in 2018 "would" or "would not" be traded and for what.

Re: CPU Trade Logic

I played through the trade deadline, and the CPU teams didn't make any trades. And as soon as we hit August, all the teams who should have been active placed players on trade waivers.

Pretty sure it's because I play with injuries off, but I know in past years CPU teams traded with each other.

Re: CPU Trade Logic

I impose strict restriction on myself but I let the CPU teams do whatever they want and I don't see many if any stupid trades happening. In fact I see more "unrealistic" trades IRL than in the Show.

The Rockies traded Tulowitzki for who? The Braves traded Kimbrel for who?

Saw the Marlins in the offseason of 2015 trade Giancarlo Stanton to the Pirates straight up for Robbie Grossman (C Pot, 69 overall). Probably, no definitely, the worst trade I have ever seen in the Show. And it was supposed to be better this year.

He probably slept with another players wife.
