Zone or directional

So question I suck at hitting but I'm trying to figure out what interface I do better. When I started I use directional and I was doing good then I restart and lost my mojo. Now I'm back to zone but I don't know. When I was doing directional I was just always holding up was I doing it wrong?

You only want to move the stick the way you want to hit the ball. If you want a fly ball hold it up. Ground ball hold down. If you want to hit it to the left or right hold it that way. I use it and dont even move the stick.

Do u see yourself getting more hits and hr when u don't move the left stick?

Cant say for sure cause i have never moved the stick. Not moving the stick basically makes it timing hitting and relies most on the players ratings.

So when should I aim left right or Up I know u don't but if u could help I appreciate

Depends on what you want. Directional will make a lesser player play above their abilities, but hamper a good player because it limits control. Zone is trickier to use, however a better player will benefit from it because they are in full control. ratings do come into play as well with zone. But good solid contact feels a lot less random with zone. Me personally I lean to zone. I'd rather my solid contact be more based on me hitting the ball, along with dice rolls, instead of being more heavily based on dice rolls. Zone just feels much more rewarding in my opinion.
