Pitchers who have hit homeruns

I thought it would be fun to do a thread about pitchers that we've either hit homeruns with or had hit homeruns off of us. Or pitchers who have hit homeruns in your franchise.

I hit my first with a pitcher last night in Pittsburgh when Lance Lynn belted one into the seats in left field just getting over the wall and staying fair.

I have unfortunately given up two homeruns to pitchers. Jason Hammel took me deep in a game in Wrigley and I also gave up a round tripper to Jose Fernandez in Busch.

So who have you hit a homerun with? Who have you given one up to?

I'm finishing up April in first year. Yet to give one up but plenty of time left for that. I did hit a good blast to left center at CBP w Cole Hamels !

I believe I've hit at least one with Wainwright for the last couple versions of the game.


This year, I've given up one to Travis Wood and Jason Marquis, each.

I've never given up a homerun to any pitcher, this year I've hit one with Wood and Edwin Jackson. Now if I could just bring back Zambrano.

I've hit a bases clearing double off the wall with Ricky Nolasco on All-Star hitting.

I hit a home run with Dan Haren against the Padres.

However Zack Greinke has hit two runs off me in my MLB The Show career.

Travis Wood, Madison Bumgarner & Mike Leake all have good power for pitchers. And they've all went yard on me when I was using Wandy Rodriguez in exhibition mode.

Just got one with John Lackey last game, have had a few more, maybe with Lance Lynn

Can't remember but I think mine was with Carlos Carrasco of the Indians on my DD team. Almost had one with Aaron Harang in a mirror pitching duel against His Phillies, also in DD.

I play MoM mode but so far this year in 30 games Ryan Vogelsong and Tim Lincecum have each homered.

I have reached the All-Star break. I am currently in 2nd place behind the leading Brewers, trailing by 5 games.

The Cubs have been very active on the trade market:

SP John Lester to the Rays for 3B Evan Longoria
3B Kris Bryant to the Pirates for SP Gerrit Cole
3B Tommy LaStella to the Rockies for SP Tyler Matzek


The Mariners got Brett Gardner from the Yankees and the Royals traded prospects to the Jays for 3B Josh Donaldson. There have been several other trades but these are the biggest.

I hit a 2-run Jimmy Jack with Shelby Miller in my Braves franchise.
