MLB 17 Stadium Accuracy / Feedback Thread

Hey OSers! Having spoken with our friends over at Sony SDS, it's about that time again... Time to start gathering more stadium details and feedback for MLB 17. As the OS community rep for MLB stadiums, I wanted to reach out to everyone and give the community as a whole the opportunity to help make the game even more true to life as possible.

Please leave any details, updates and feedback for the 30 MLB Ballparks here. Photos are the most useful (with arrows and circles are even better), and please make sure that all reference materials are from the 2016 season. The clearer and higher resolution, the better. And of course, a brief description of the detail or change is recommended. SPOILER tags are always nice too.

There are 4 stadiums that will not need any info submitted for, due to the ball clubs providing official means of access to info. So there's no need to bother with those, which are:

Orioles Park at Camden Yards (Baltimore)
SunTrust Park (Atlanta)
Marlins Park (Miami)
Petco Park (San Diego)

Nats park:
The big "curly W" analog clock next to the scoreboard in right center doesn't work or even have hands anymore IRL (it keeps time in the game).

It has not been keeping time well through the years and they finally just removed the hands in 2014 (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ost-its-hands/)

If the developers are striving for accuracy, remove the hands. If they wanted to make it an easter egg, maybe just have it not keep time well

I know we've been over this before Slab, but just to make sure it's not lost in the shuffle. The weather bug at Target Field is still my biggest gripe about the stadium in general. Just gonna post the link to the thread I made awhile back, it's got all the pics SCEA needs.

Comerica Park

The biggest change was the unveiling of the new brick backstop, and faux brick padding on the access doors. Also, the Tigers Club section (top half of the lower section behind home plate) has had wood chairs and tables, since 2007 (in-game it looks like wheelchair seating).

In the outfield, the DAC building added a 7th floor 'club' that became a hot spot for watching a game. Also, the colors of the vehicles in the CF fountain will be orange and blue from now on.

I'm not sure that this requires photo evidence, but the center field dimension in MLB '16 at Busch Stadium is listed at 336 FT to dead center (which is absurd for a major league park). According to Wikipedia, the center field fence is 400'. There are also some poor photos on the internet that aren't zoomed in enough, but maybe a Cardinals fan has some better photo evidence.

Kauffman Stadium

Crown Club pt.1 (Seating)

Updates #1a and #1b are top two priorities that I would love to see made as they've been incorrect for years, and are immediately visible for half of the game when playing at Kauffman Stadium. The seating section immediately behind home plate (called the Crown Club Seats) at the K needs some love. The aisle locations I think are actually correct, however the number of seats needs correcting - in MLB 16 there's too many gaps of missing seats, even though the risers are there. This makes it appear as if there's too many aisles. (Images below show seat plan for number of rows and aisle locations, and also a crude Photoshopped seat plan that shows how many seats are in each section) There also appears to only be two-three rows of people in this section in The Show, but IRL there are actually four rows of people as the images and seat plan shows.

Crown Club pt.2 (Advertisement)

Coupled with the post above re: Seating, this is necessary update #1b for me. Behind the seating described above, there needs to be a fixed advertisement board covering the railing behind the middle part of the section (see second image for extents). In MLB 16, you see the legs and feet of fans in the seating section above, where you shouldn't. Also, in the middle, directly behind home plate (shown as a Subway advertisement in real snapshot), should be a digital sign. In real life, this shows either sponsor logos, or upcoming promotions, etc.

Craft & Draft Seating Section

For the 2015 season, Kauffman Stadium replaced what had been the '.390 Club' along the 3rd base line. The most noticeable change is that the old .390 Club was closed off with glass, but the new 'Craft & Draft' section is open.

Grass Pattern

While I initially loved that the devs put the Royals crown in the grass pattern in center field, now seeing it for every game in MLB 15 and MLB 16 has caused it to lose its luster. The Royals very rarely mow the crown grass pattern - less that 5-10 games max per season (including playoffs). The predominant pattern for games at the K is a simple cross pattern with a slightly smaller hatch pattern on the infield than the outfield. Knowing that the crown is really only mowed at the K for primetime (re: playoff) series', I would actually prefer to have it removed if there's only going to be one pattern for every home game in MLB 17.

Hall of Fame Window Graphic(s) and Flag Count

I understand there's likely copyright issues with having the exact graphics on the Royals' Hall of Fame (visible in left field). However, it would be nice to have something a little truer to reality. The past 5-6 years, the team has branded the glass with a new Kansas City focused graphics facing the field (with the large green Commerce branding being added for the 2015 season), but the general graphic has been consistent (blue tinted, KC skyline, etc). The Show still has the plain window graphic style that was used circa 2010-ish.

MLB 16:

Upper Deck Graphics

The upper deck at Kauffman has (1) large vomitory about half way up the 1st base line and (1) half way up the 3rd base line. In The Show, these vomitories are solid concrete (as most of them are). However, in real life, these should have large (mostly blue) sponsor graphics on them. Also, at the top of the press box area are two long 'roof tops'. The Show has these as a plain color, but these should also be sponsored mostly blue.

Left and Right Field Foul Territory Wall Graphics

The walls along the left and right field lines need to have more graphics/advertisements added to them. In The Show, both walls are shown blank.

Right Field '(Script) Advertisement Sign' and 'Baseball Sign'.

The Show 16 does have an advertisement above the bar in right field, but making it a neon script sign would be even more authentic. The true sponsor is Budweiser (and has been the past few seasons), but I know the Show can't put that up there. Red neon text that said something like 'Kauffman' or 'Baseball' would even be great. Full disclosure: the on-field panoramic view is 2016 just to prove current, but the close up is an older picture.

Also, there has been a baseball 360 Vodka sign at the right corner of the building the past few seasons as well that would be great to add for 17 as it's missing from the Show 16.

Outfield Wall LED Boards

The Show 16 has these, but they need to be extended a little bit to replace some static advertisements. The Show's LED boards need to extend all the way to the bullpen fences. What is shown as 'The Show 16' advertisement board in the screenshot below, should be a part of the LED board.
