Re: MLB 17 Stadium Accuracy / Feedback Thread

The Twins' Target Field is pretty good in-game. Obviously, besides my grass and field color gripes with it not being lush or detailed enough, (Please for the love of the lord let us choose grass cut or make it like it has been at TF since inception) the stadium is fairly accurate and the guys seem to keep up it with despite our terrible record.

The new centerfield seats look a tiny bit different than in-game. The skyline and buildings in Minneapolis are often different colors or totally different than in-game.

The backstop could have a little more detailing. And I'm not sure but I think the center right net might be off a little. Definitely, a little bit on the low detail side and too white in game to me anyway. I am sure The Show devs can look into it, but I have detailed a bunch of pictures to help them out.

A couple other things are explained below:

1: Here the netting is in the dark. New seats are there from zoomed out angle. This is a night shot so they have more perspective about the stadium from the night. The scoreboards have a black background and note their position.

2: Super side shot showing the angle and rough number of holes (I think netting needs more detail in all the stadiums) in the net. Also detailed a screen from the vertical LED post and color of the flags at TF for the time being.

3: Backstop detailing. In game still looks a bit too plain to me. The repeated nature of these moving billboards is annoying. It would be sweet all around to see stadiums improved with more ads. As you can see the Twins backstop ads don't repeat as much like they do in The Show.

The TC logo on the grass also looks too small by about 25%.

4: In-game backstop with redundant ads. 1-800 number is also there in real life on the green padding right side as is the @Twins on the left side.

5: Target Center Dog lit up at night. Orange lettering is normally red from other pics I see so leave it red. I have no idea when it does that or if it does. Just wanted to give a high-res shot of the dog. More a wish but it would be sweet to get that.

Re: MLB 17 Stadium Accuracy / Feedback Thread

      Continued post:

4: Medium to close shot of centerfield seats. The details are a bit different in real life. The scoreboards are black. The geometry is very different in multiple places. Note the small scoreboard on the upper decks. These are the types of things that would bring The Show up a notch IMO, and not just in this stadium.

5: Super close shot of limestone and inner area.

6: Zoomed out shot of the netting and Target Center Dog. Would be cool if they could get the dog in there or something like it. Honestly, the grass should also look more like this shot because when you are at TF the grass is pretty green and vibrant most of the time, at least in the sun. Note the field grass cut as well.

7: In-game shot of a couple things. Doesn't that net look a little off? Maybe it needs to extend back more? Be a tad more transparent I think for sure. Overall they did a good job with limited time.

8: In-game Centerfield. Dat grass pattern tho. Come on Show 17 Team don't do me like this.

At the Phillies game right now. Here are a few things requested. On Tapatalk right now so I hope the pics aren't too big on desktop.

How Liberty Bell should be lit during a game.

        New scoreboard in right field.

        Left field foul pole font.

Team names instead of logos on left field scoreboard.

Pitcher info on out of town scoreboard in right field.

Ball girl location in right field. Same spot for left field as well.

I also forgot to mention that the Mets changed the wall color above the orange line that sits above the Party City Deck. It's now blue instead of black.

Great photos now lets hope they make it into MLB The Show 17

The flags in left center field also need to be updated.

            Thanks PhilliesFan13

Here are some more photos I found of Citizens Bank Park for current 2016 season.

              Taken from web page

"Citizens Bank Park is the only stadium I’ve seen thus far to have a scoreboard dedicated to their minor league affiliates. Located to the right of the out of town boards, its upper half has the current score of the Phillies game and the pitch speed while the bottom half scrolls scores from the Philadelphia farm teams."

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Citizens Bank Park June 2, 2016 ~ Park #18 I’ve never seen a place quite like it. A concentration that houses five professional sports teams all in one place. For a sports …

Unless it's changed since this photo here is what the colors are on the number font on the left field foul pole at Citizens Bank Park.

But I am pretty sure it still has the same colors.

Also the center filed ivy needs some updating as it has grown over the years.

And you can see that the Liberty Bell has a blueish/purple color at night.

I finally found 2 decent photos of the new scoreboards on left and right field at U.S. Cellular Field.

Or should I say Guaranteed Rate Field

Some pics from Wrigley last night, really just showing videoboard graphics. I think the park itself is great in-game. Can't remember the name of the guy that worked on it, but he was namedropped in one of the pre-release streams. That dude is awesome.

                      ---

During an at-bat, player stats are displayed like this (first at-bat and later both shown) I personally don't care about player hometown or DOB, as long as the stats get in with the yellow font and all that, I think we're good:

                      Spoiler

This might be too specific, but on strikeouts, we get this on all four video boards (all Ks are reversed on caught looking):

                      Spoiler

There's the Nuveen ad in left field now, so some generic THESHOW would cover that.

                      Spoiler

                      ---

And a couple pics from Google that I didn't get good angles of last night:

Right field video board displays pitcher's ball/strike/total on the lower portion of the center.

                      Spoiler

LED banner hanging off the upper deck is half ads, half game info. Specifically, inning/score, batter last name and avg, and b/s/o.

                      Spoiler

Progressive Field. Updated signage for the Home Run Porch. (New sponsor, maybe call it "The Show HR Porch" in the game next year.). Also new drink rails in Left Field. BTW, can someone upload pics of the new ribbon boards? If not, I'll do some digging and find some.

At the Rogers Centre most of the fans normally wear the "Blue" jerseys not red like how it's been in MLB The Show for years.

Also please remove the parka that the fans are wearing in July.

Does this count as stadium feedback?

Does anyone have a picture of the Standing room area at Miller Park, in Right Center Field. It is called the Toyota Territory. Was updated a few seasons ago, but needs to be upgraded in the game. Thanks in advance
