I usually roll with whatever weather the AI picks. If I’m playing in Houston, Arlington, Arizona etc. I close the roof if it’s between May 15th and September 15th. Anything before or after that I let the AI select u less it’s overcast, and then I close it. Somewhere like Milwaukee or Toronto I let the AI pick regardless of the time of year unless, again it’s overcast. For the playoffs roofs are always closed.

It would be better if games could also be postponed by rain resulting in later season doubleheaders.

I know I can change it but it's pointless.
Because if it weren't there , people would be complaining about how it wasn't.

I guess the biggest consequence would be that you have a delay and generally pull your pitcher. It would be amusing if they locked your game for that time frame until you could continue playing.

I think I would close the roofs in MIL and TOR for early April also

The roof in Toronto is normally always closed on its own in April if I remember right. I use the Yanks so I don’t play a lot in Milwaukee, so I’m not sure about that one.

Same, typically closed for Milwaukee because April is more Winter than Spring until late in the month. This year has been very mild for March though.

Roof is often open at night early during the season at Chase Field. Cools off quickly at night that time of the year in the desert.
