Anyone know the scope of these new celebration animations? Are they mostly for homeruns and post-win celebrations?
One thing I noticed today while watching Millenium stream some MLB 16 is that players never do anything after a double, even though he was playing in the postseason. In real life, players often clap, point to the dugout, etc. after a nice 2-bagger, even if they didn't drive anyone in.
In close games, it's common to see a bit of celebration even after a single to try and get a rally going, fire up their team, whatever. The Cub's hitters in particular usually have a ritual celebration after every single hit throughout the season.
Hopefully we'll see stuff like this in 17 with all the new animations as it would add a lot to the realism of the presentation (without going overboard). I'm really excited to see what they have in store for us.
