Season Mode - do players ratings progress/regress ?

I was wondering if players get better or worse in season mode. I do not see any +/- on the player cards during the season like we do in franchise mode. do they progress in the off-season ?

They do progress.
They do age.
They do retire.

Season is basically franchise if you want to cut your organization in half and don't want to play minor league games.

Actually, I don't think they regress during the season. Their stats will +/- based on morale.

I havent noticed anyof the 4 defensive attribute regress but I definitely know power will regress faster than than anything else, and when I've witnessed it happen I'm postive it wasnt because of morale, or lack thereof. However, the thing that bothers me is I have put players potential at zero and the regrssion I've seen isnt really huge (less than a 8 point drop).
I bet if I set potential at 50 I would see bare minimum regression.

He's specifically asking about Season mode vs Franchise mode. I'm positive in season mode, attributes only fluctuate with morale, there is no other +/- during the year. At the end of the season, players will progress/regress, but that only happens at the end of the year after the playoffs have finished. I just loaded up my season and verified, Javier Lopez was mid 70 all year, then dropped to 60 as soon as the season was over.
