I always prefer digital since the load times are faster and everything just feels smoother, plus you never have to worry about swapping blurays.

The auto download checkbox is B.S. according to my experience last year! That only gives you a partial download and you need to manually go in and download the rest. Don't be unaware and be like me and wait until midnight on release date to figure that out like I did.

Re: Digital copy vs Hard Copy

I have never had a problem. Almost every game this generation I have bought digitally and those that have had it available have always pre loaded right on time with no issues.

Re: Digital copy vs Hard Copy

To elaborate on the pre-loads question(s), pre-loads typically happens the Sunday morning before a game is released on Tues. Meaning, if you have the option of downloading any software or update checked in your system settings, it will automatically start without any intervention from you provided your PS4 is in rest mode. I can't recall an issue where a pre-load didn't start by itself Sunday morning. I will always be a digital download person. Just way to convenient for me.

Re: Digital copy vs Hard Copy

Was once a disc person, then switched to digital downloads. Love the fact that I don't have to switch discs when changing games. Of course, there is no trade in of the disc when you are finished playing the game, but I still prefer the convenience of digital.
