re: MLB The Show 17 Impressions

The next day radio coverage in franchise mode just announced that brett gardner and two other players all managed to break the record for hits in a single season after opening day where only 6 teams played lol

Nobody broke it on day 2 though so maybe just an opening day bug?

re: MLB The Show 17 Impressions

Sounds of the Show music editor now has a slow moving option when getting song points. L2 and R2 are quick and L1 and R1 are slow.

Nice addition.

Hopped into RTTS to check out the new PYP mode... the difference in the character models of each cpu generated player (even prospects in franchise) is amazing. Each character seems like they are an actual individual with all different body shapes, haircuts, etc.

Man the love they gave to commentary is so beautiful. Harold and Dan, are bringing their flavor to the squad, it is as if they wrote their own stuff. It is so natural and in the right context. This is next level, knowledge based commentary.

Mind you, I have been playing this game since its infancy.

re: MLB The Show 17 Impressions

as I mentioned in the other thread for those who have 1080p tvs without HDR and debating if they should pick up the pro... all i say is the high frame rate option is an absolute game changer. I've been playing this game forever and I've this frame rate upgrade has blown my mind!! I was regretting my pro purchase yesterday cause boost mode on 16 was average but MAN ALIVE is the frame rate worth the purchase!

re: MLB The Show 17 Impressions

the only negative I will say and plead with you Sony guys.. I HATE the HR celebration camera!! please give me an option to turn this off cause with the new retro fielding camera and insanely smooth frame rate I'm in broadcast baseball heaven
