They already have fans catching the HR baseball and they do a little celebration. Unfortunately the only way you will see the fan celebrating with the ball is if you go to replay and zoom in and look. This should be part of the presentation package for home runs instead of showing the damn manager.

Make it a split screen showing the fan section where the HR was hit while the batter rounds the bases and make a it 1 screen of the batter as he rounds 3rd.

As a Franchise Guy...

#1 -- do away with the "Durability" attribute and make "energy" and "injury risk" separate attributes. Right now if someone has low durability, he's not only an injury risk but needs to be rested every third game...

#2 -- realistic prospect attribute distributions...physical tools, which don't grow that much (power, speed, arm strength) vs. skills that can grow a lot (vision, contact, discipline, baserunning)...

#3 -- tone down the cat/mouse play. I've got a guy with 55 speed/85 stealing on first and the pitcher throws over once and then pitches out twice...happens all the time...

And for the love of all that's holy....TONE DOWN THE OZZIE SMITH PLAYS BY THE CPU AT SHORTSTOP.

Mlb 18 Wishlist

Create some animations for the pitcher to avoid being a target of frequent richochet hits off their body. Some examples could be a ducking out the way, dodging to either side to reduce the pinball hits off their body.

Bring back the option to turn off individual commentary volumes since their not recording together. Maybe have a asian, and spanish broadcast commentary teams as a alternative to select from. Even though I don't understand those languages they might bring more exciting chatter to liven up the presentation.

If I cancel a close call option at 1st base don't force me to sit through the cutscenes just take me back immediately to the action with the result of the call already in place.

The jump throw animation from SS and 3B accuracy getting to first base is too precise. Most of the fielders feel too much like ozzie smith. If this could be toned down with more variety of outcomes so when the animation kicks in there is more drama involved especially for average fielders.

The menu system is so dependent on the servers. Just managing my roster, checking inventory from menu to menu with the slow loading circle is counter productive on the ps4. Improvement to servers would help, and maybe a less taxing design so it could be more swiftly to navigate through the menus in diamond dynasty.

Some attention to online and offline franchise modes. Give more mission reward oppurtunities for franchise modes.

The freezing state in online gameplay has plagued this series out the gate every year. Other sports video games don't suffer from these frequently freeze glitches. Have a beta demo to knock out some of these issues as much as possible pre launch before the game is released in the state they have been.

Well, if you're not durable then you're injury prone lol

Yes but just because a guy is injury prone doesn't mean when he is healthy he cant play everyday lol, as it stands now a guy with a low durability rating means his injury prone and can barely play 3 straight games without being tired.. lol

Should be different ratings

Well I would like more classic stadiums, some of the old astro turf stadiums and Tiger, and the ability to create my own divisions in season play, but I have pretty given up on both. They always have a reason why it cant be done,

But the wind ups and stances have to be redone. Some have been in the game forever and alot of them were not accurate to start with. But for the pitchers with a lot of arm action like Cotton for the A's or Montero on the Mets there is nothing that the game has that replicates it. Nothing even close. All the windups look slow, if that makes sense.

And a lot of the classic motions and wind ups just are not accurate. The wind ups for Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens, and Sandy Koufax just are not correct. Ditto for the Hank Aaron.

And for current player like Archer and Martinez for the Cardinals, anything really where the pitcher kicks his legs to the side just do not look like.

They need to patch changeups for created & RTTS players. As it is right now, the pitch maxes out at 84mph, regardless of the repertoire.

Last year, the changeup reflected the other pitches in the repertoire:
  • hard thrower = power-ish changeup (87-89mph)
  • junk/"crafty" pitcher = bugs bunny changeup

Right now it's:
  • hard thrower = 83-85mph changeup, if non-SDS roster player
  • junk/"crafty" pitcher = bugs bunny changeup

Needs to be addressed, pronto.

What I want to see for MLB The Show 18 is a correct representation of the true power changeups that are 89-91mph. As well as the split-changeup.

2. We need to be able to assign a HR swing to any stance from the same side of the plate. They should not be tied to one stance as they only need to have the same follow through (2 hand or 1 hand) to trigger the animation.

3. Team color 4 needs to be added and be associated with the color of the pants the team is wearing so that we can easily make white/gray home/away gear.

4. Outfielders need to wear a 12.5 to 13.5 inch version of their glove, not the 11.5 inch they wear now. This is the 3rd year in a row its been wrong.
While I agree that the unique player movements could be better, motion capturing is a little more difficult to do than just throwing more people at it.

"Starting from scratch" just isn't an option either.
